This company did an excellent job two and a half years ago installing our new quiet door lift, and when we had some problems recently, they responded immediately. Additionally, their technician, Walker, was competent, efficient, and professional in every way. There is no reason to go any where else! They are the BEST!

I was referred to precision by a friend who has used their services in the past. I got on the Internet and made an appointment at 1:30 on the same day. They had a window from 2 to 6 and Kourtney was at my house by 220 and my new garage door was installed by 4:30 on the same day! Amazing service, helpful, friendly, and honest.

The service I received was excellent. Mike McCllelan was the technician and very knowlegeable and efficient. I was a little surprised at the price but my old unit was 25 years old, so that's how it is. But good service in a very timely manner. The problem presented at about 5:00 pm and Mike was all finished before 7:30 pm. Can't beat that!

Tom came by to fix my garage door. It would open but not close all of the way. I scheduled an appointment online and they were here in 2 hours. Tom noticed that my sensor was bent. (I think I ran into it). He bent it back and fixed the issue. Thank you so much for the prompt and efficient service!!

We had previously used Precision for repair work on a broken spring. When our door would not open but would close we anticipated a hefty bill for replacement. Tim found that an umbrella leaned against wall while loading had blocked the sensor. We expected at least a service charge but we were not billed anything. I called for a simple spring replacement. The person on the phone said it would be $100-$300 for a spring replacement. The tech provided me with an initial quote of $1,555 to replace the 2 springs and shaft bearings. The springs are under $100, and the bearings are probably $10 in bulk. Tech took off the bearing replacement and said it would be $1,000. That is still way off, so he called his manager and then quoted $400. I felt like I was being scammed, so I asked the technician to leave. I found a local, reputable company to perform the service for $200. Sad, because I used Precision to install a complete garage door in Tampa for $999, and that included the install, rails, door, springs, and everything else. Not sure what this location is doing, but very scary.

Frustrated, while I agreed with the cost of having my door repaired, I find the cost to be outragous for the 30 minutes worth of work that was required for the problem. I paid the $500 to have the cables and springs released and put back on. No parts were required no repairs were technically required, only tools and skill, and I get that his skill comes at a price, but $500 was excessive, I asked if that was the best they could do and he said that was the best. Granted I created the mess, I feel as though I was quoted an outragous price that didn't seem fair, but what do you do other than trust the company that comes out when you don't have the tools to fix the issue. The technician that came out was very polite and professional, but after the fact I feel as though I was taken advantage of because they knew I couldn't fix the problem myself. If the company feels this price is okay for 30 minutes of work then I have to live with that, skill comes at a price, I get that but $500 is a bit over the top.

My garage door would not operate. I called their office and was greeted by a very professional and pleasant office personnel. She scheduled my appointment the same day and gave me a window of time that my service person would be coming. The tech called ten minutes before arriving. She listened and then went right to work. I felt sorry for her because it was about 19 degrees out. She figured out the problem and resolved the issues. She was great. I give her five stars also. I would and will recommend Precision to anyone who needs help with any garage door issues.

We used Precision Garage Door when we had our new openers installed several years ago. Over time our keypads stopped working and not being good at home maintenance we just didn't get around to taking care of it. We did try switching out the battery and when that didn't work we just used our remote openers. However, I finally called Precision to come out and take care of it. First our appointment was scheduled quickly; the technician arrived on time, communication was excellent and the best part - there was no charge for the service!! The Technician, Tom Palmer was very helpful. We called, thinking we needed a new battery. He thoroughly inspected everything. He noticed that the springs were worn and needed to be replaced. Also, he noticed the wood holding up the bracket (Spring Pad Lumber) was cracked. He also replaced the weather seal on the bottom of the door. He was able to take care of everything within a couple of hours.
