I contacted them because the wall bottom for my garage door wasn’t working. I was surprisingly told that there would be no service charge for them coming to check it out. The technician checked it out and concluded that it might be a bigger, more expensive problem than just the wall switch. I decided to just use my other remote for the time being. And just as promised, no charge for the call. Much appreciated!

Price for repair was over inflated and they price adjusted down after complaining to the tech and then got a reasonable price after threatening to use another company. Door only worked a couple times. Had to call and they sent a different tech out to fix it properly.

Cameron and Joe were great! They arrived less than 90 minutes after I called for emergency repair service. Cameron outlined my options very clearly from absolutely required repairs to replacing the whole unit as it is over 25 yrs old. Our garage door broke down early morning on a Sunday. One of the door cables had broken and the door was angled and frozen in place. I have used Precision before and contacted them to get service on the door. The customer service attendant was very pleasant and efficient in understanding my issue. She got a technician dispatched and had the tech out to my home within two hours of my call on a Sunday. The tech analyzed the problem, fixed the problem, and had my door fixed in 90 minutes. Joe was the technician. He was great. Very congenial and professional.The garage door was putting too much weight on the springs. It was over 20 lbs. Joe was able to adjust the pressure so the weight was a little less than 8 lbs. Precision had replaced the springs many years ago and at that time they offered a lifetime warranty on the springs. Joe was able to adjust the pressure on the springs as part of the warranty even though the springs were not broken. I have the original purchase receipt to verify the lifetime warranty.
