We had Jacob Jones come to our home to originally repair a very old garage door opener. Upon discussing the situation, it was determined that we should replace it as it was so old the original opener wasn't produced any longer. Jacob was very professional and explained everything to us. We had the new opener installed and Jacob was very thorough with checking that everything was installed well and working perfectly. A huge thank you to Jacob for the phenomenal job. Price for repair was over inflated and they price adjusted down after complaining to the tech and then got a reasonable price after threatening to use another company. Door only worked a couple times. Had to call and they sent a different tech out to fix it properly.

Between the super friendly lady that I spoke to on the phone (sorry that I forgot your name), to Dylan, the amazing technician that set my mind at ease, this company is top notch in every way. One of my torsion springs went bad and I actually called another company the night before. I did not have a good feeling with them right off the bat. The tech indicated that he had to remove the springs to get the sizing before he could give me a price. This should have been a red flag to me, but I let him proceed. After being quoted ridiculous pricing, and the tech dropping both springs from the shaft to the ground, I called Precision Garage Door of Columbus on the spot. The woman who took my call was kind, clear, and sympathetic to my situation. Within an hour, Dylan was at my home reviewing the work with me. Because of these two individuals, I immediately found trust and comfort in who I had hired. Dylan was very clear in his description of the work, and also stated that he would be replacing the shaft and additional parts to ensure that the garage door was completely safe for my family and I to be around. I was provided very fair pricing that was significantly less than what I was quoted with the first company. Dylan had the work completed in one hour, was polite, sympathetic to our situation, and very knowledgeable, answering all of my questions about the springs and proper maintenance. Precision won my business today, and for all future needs. Thank you for being a professional, courteous, trustworthy company. He showed and talked me through everything he was doing and why. He explained how and when to use lubricant on the rail and springs. He was super quick with the tear down and reinstall. Tom came out to give us an estimate on repairing the mechanisms on our very old garage door. The working parts needed to be replaced. He returned with Joseph that afternoon and worked very late to complete the job. A few days later, David came over to trim the rubber strip on the bottom of the door which was rubbing on the side of the garage. All the technicians were friendly, professional and very helpful. We are very pleased with the results. We were so used to a noisy garage door that my husband couldn't believe that the door was actually working as it was so quiet!

We had a great experience. A spring broke on our garage door and I was able to easily schedule an appointment for the next day using the online scheduler. Tony came out the next morning and did a fantastic job of fixing the problem quickly and also giving guidance on the overall state of our garage doors. I'd absolutely recommend him to others.

Our technician James was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Did not take him long to complete the job. The parts prices are really inflated based upon my investigation. The price should have been at least 30-40% lower. As with all service work these days the customer has little choice as we need to have the work done. Hope James is well paid. Dan

One star because 0 stars wasn't possible. I needed my garage door spring replaced and called out Precision. Imani was my technician and she tried to convince my wife to pay $2400 for this repair. After telling her multiple times we wouldn't pay that much, the price dropped and dropped and dropped until my wife agreed to $700 which was still too high for the single spring set up she installed. This type of tactic is beyond dishonest.

Unfortunately, it was not able to be repaired however, he quickly and effortlessly installed a new one on the same trip. Definitely would recommend Cameron to anyone!

I had a spring break a few days before New Years. I called Precision on my in-laws recommendation. Within 2 hours the tech, Tom, was at my door. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. My door was over 20 years old, so I asked him to just inspect the whole thing. He told me the things that needed done, other things he recommended and things that were still good. I went with his recommendations and 2 hours later it’s like a new door. I highly recommend this company, and Tom was awesome to deal with.
