Pros: Arrived on time. Cons: Lack of transparency and inconsistent communication. I was initially told my existing lift system could not be repaired and was quoted nearly $3,000 for a full replacement. Based on that information, I felt pressured into moving forward. However, the work was ultimately completed for $500, which raises serious concerns about how the original quote was determined. Toward the end of the service, the technician mentioned that the real issue was a broken spring—and that they didn’t have the necessary parts to fix it. This was never clearly explained upfront. Had I known, I could have sourced the parts myself and potentially avoided replacing the entire system. By the time this was clarified, the replacement had already been installed, leaving me with little recourse. I’m also concerned about the quality of the new system, as it appears lower-grade and I’m not confident it justifies the cost. Overall, the experience felt misleading and left me questioning both the necessity of the work and the company’s pricing practices.

March 30 and 31 your tech Brad was here at my home for service, originally to give me an estimate to replace the garage door trim, which I did not have replaced when your company replaced both my garage doors in April, 2024. Instead of just providing an estimate for the trim, Brad took extra time to do an inspection of the doors, and in doing so discovered that insufficient springs were installed with the doors in 2024. He explained that over time this would result in the garage door openers failing much quicker than they should because they were lifting much more of the weight than they should. Your company approved Brad repairing this issue at no charge to me. Brad also made a repair on a connection from the door to the opener, resulting from this added strain. Today Brad was back with the trim, installed it, caulked and cleaned the trim, and applied a little paint to the nails. Brad did an excellent job, was courteous, efficient, and demonstrated attention to details and concern for the customer. You should somehow reward him and keep him around as he is a great representative of your company.

NEIGHBOR had work completed by your team on Saturday afternoon AND our garage door controller could then operate both home’s garage doors. I would say this was a safety issue. We called Friday night and twice more on Saturday morning. We asked for a simple call back from a manager of the techs on all three calls. No responses. Finally on Saturday afternoon a tech arrived and had to reset and reprogram all of our devices. This still allowed our controllers to operate BOTH GARAGE DOORS. the techs then went over to our neighbors home and reprogram their units.

We have used only Precision Garage Door for all our garage door repairs. We've used them for at least 3-4 times in the last few years. Their technicians are the very best. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They have always fixed our problems and they certainly know what they are doing. I feel their pricing is very fair and well worth it. They come almost immediately to fix our problems. We will use no one else but them. We have used them for spring replacement and also many repairs concerning the garage door and opener.

I had a company come out to fix my broken spring on the weekend. Unfortunately they just put in a spring. A month later my door was not tracking right. Called Precision and Cameron came out. He showed me how my rollers, cables and bearings were showing a lot of wear. He showed me the cost and how to maximize the life of my door. 2 hours later my door was looking and running like new. Technician was a friendly guy. Alerted him of the problem, he let me know the estimate to fix my functional existing garage door opener. After further investigation, it was determined that it could not be repaired and couldn't be put back together, functional and in its pre-existing condition. While I'm not necessarily questioning the technician, the situation put me in the position to pretty much buy another one on the spot. Could I have refused? Yes, but then I would have had to do another round of research and get second opinions on something that I thought was a $200 repair and not a $1,600 purchase. Just wasn't comfortable how it went down. The technician did a great job of installing and it works very well so far.

I had a couple of other quotes with comparable pricing but what brought them to the top of the list? Their response time is second-to-none. Especially considering it was same-day! And they provided an accurate window for my appointment I called at 8:00am and they arrived within a couple of hours! Our installer, Jacob, was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. His skillset was fantastic!

Dave was very nice, courteous and patient with me. He fixed my problem in a timely manner. Would I call precision again, probably not, because I was shocked by the initial estimate of over $2000.00! I definately should have shopped around! As a retiree on limited income I only needed the springs/cable replaced and told him I had a set amount I can afford. No Senior discount was offered either.

Our garage opener broke, wouldn't go up and we were perplexed. My husband couldn't figure it out. So we contacted Precision as they had installed our garage DOOR. It was so easy to get a service appt. on line, the very next day! Danny came out and looked over our opener and figured out what the problem was. He was so nice, respectful, polite and so professional. He knew his stuff! He showed me, and explained the issue. I was in touch with my husband.
