We have used Precision for years and they never fail to impress us. Tim was no exception. Our garage door spring broke early Sunday morning on the coldest day of the season. We called Precision not knowing if it were even possible to get someone out that day and within a couple hours ( exactly as promised) Tim arrived to fix the entire problem. Tim Tomlinson was my technician and did a great job inspecting and explaining what was needed. He also explained how the door original sprin installation was done incorrectly which was why I was never able to manually open it. The springs are now properly installed and I can now open the door manually if I want. If I need any future garage door service, I will be calling Precision Door Service.

So this morning I discovered a spring had broken on my garage door and was definitely going to need replaced. After a quick on line search I selected Precision based on the many positive reviews. I elected to call rather than do an on line booking as it allows you to begin your assessment of customer service right away. I must say that everything from my initial conversation to the completion of the repair was both courteous, professional and certainly exceeded my expectations based on today’s level of service. The technician was outstanding and provided me with several options from just replacing the broken spring to replacing some of the other 22 year old parts. There was no pressure to fix anything other than the broken spring and I could have opted for any or all the recommended parts. The whole process was so professional I decided to replace all the recommended parts on the door as well replace all the load bearing parts on my second garage door. I received excellent service from start to finish and would definitely recommend Precision to a friend.

I appreciate coming out fast response but nothing got fixed. The tech mentioned the garage door was unbalanced in the statement but didn't mention anything to resolve balancing the door. It would have taken 30 minutes to tighten the upper spring so the door is not so heavy half way down. Instead he tried to upsell me on a new motor/parts which is unheard of for a 3 year old garage. On top of that the motor he put in the quote is the same HP as my lift master? All he had to do was re balance the door which would have fixed the issue.

The technician (Tim) came out within a day of me reaching out to the company. His check of the door and the specific issue was comprehensive and he gave multiple options based on timing, cost, and property specific issues. He was very knowledgeable about the different openers and what all of the features were for each one. I was able to take his knowledge and settle on an option that worked well for me.
