Our garage door opener quit working after partway closing the garage door. We had previously had Precision change our system from 2 springs to 4 springs and replace the rollers when one of the springs broke and were very happy with the work they did. I called to see when they could come out this time and was pleasantly surprised that it would be the same afternoon! Tom contacted us to let us know he was on the way and showed up within an hour or two after I had called to make the appointment. He provided a couple of options for the replacement of our 16-year old garage door opener and completed the work within a couple of hours. We couldn’t be more pleased with the friendly, quick response time, and courteous and professional work!

This is my second use of services from Precision Garage Doors. The first was about 12 years ago at a prior residence to replace a broken spring on a garage door. The work was done promptly and professionally. The second service being at our newer residence to replace the entire garage door rod and spring assembly. The company dispatched a technician, Jake Jones, who arrived in two hours. He disclosed various options to replace the ten year old rod and spring mechanism installed by the condo builder that had failed. Jake then installed the new rod and spring mechanism option we chose in two hours. A great job. I highly recommend Precision Garage Doors and will use them in the future. Our condo has two single garage doors. If/when the other garage door door has issues so should

I’ve used this company in the past at a different house. I got prompt service from an extremely polite tech. He came on time informed me of what needed done. Explain the cost and said which of the items needed done right then and that there were two that could wait iuntil later if I couldn’t do it all at once. We agreed to do all the changes at one time. He provided exemplary service as he knew that this had put a major inconvenience in my plans. The gentleman was extremely polite and courteous and did an excellent job. Yes, precision Garage Door of Columbus met my expectations…and then some. The phone representative gave me clear options. Tom Palmer, Technician, called ahead announcing when he would arrive. He was prompt, congenial and gave careful attention to explanation of needed service, as well as options. No rush. (Even the Invoice is helpful as it presents detailed disclosure of parts and prices.) An advertising coupon reminded me to call Precision Garage Door this time, but it was their past good work that gave me confidence to call again.

Just want to say that the service tech, Trevor, was outstanding in terms of understanding the issue I had and worked hard to resolve the problem. The door issue I had was unique and specific to the door bottom weather seal and how it contacted a very uneven cement garage floor. I'm satisfied with the outcome of Trevor's work. His customer rapport is excellent and you can easily tell he knows what he is doing. He works hard. Nice guy for sure. Everything was fully explained ahead of the work being done.

I called Precision Garage Door because I had used them at another residence. The background on the most recent call is: my wife and I came home and while exiting the garage, I pressed the button to close the garage. As the door came down, one of the cables broke and I heard a large boom. The garage door was cockeyed and couldn’t be moved up or down. I called Precision that evening and the earliest they could get to me was the following morning. Around 10:10 A.M. Mr. Danny Quinn called and told me he was on his way. After arriving, approximately 40 minutes later, the problem was fixed. He was very friendly, clearly knew what needed to be done, wanted to get this fixed ASAP so we could get our cars out of the garage. I was so impressed by this young man…..the next time I will specifically ask for him to come out.

I simply looked for a Genie garage door opener repair site and yours was first. Tom, your repairman, was very polite and cordial I showed him the Genie keypad we used to open the garage doorI forgot the Genie code. Tom repaired the apparatus asked me for a new 4-digit code and could not get the Genie to operate. Tom said he has never seen such old equipment and was very disappointed that he could not get the keypad to open the garage door. I can still open the garage door using the Genie opener we store in the car. Tom "put everything back the way he found it and did not charge me for his labor.
