My name is Tom Palmer. I've lived in Grove City all of my life. I have a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. I have previously worked in the residential construction business. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach and working on anything from dirtbikes and motorcycles, to race cars and trucks.

When I experienced issues with my garage door motor, I contacted the vendor that originally installed it. They never got back to me. I remembered Precision from vans in my neighborhood as well as a (long) past visit, Their website made it easy to schedule an appointment, and the confirmation I received was clear and accurate. The tech did a great job of explaining why I needed a new motor. The work was completed promptly and well. When I could not get my car opener to sync with my new motor, I called Precision (as my first tech told me I could), and by the end of the day all was well. The second tech was timely, professional, and PATIENT. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

great experience. Spring broke at 11:30 AM and had a service guy at the house at the 3:30. The service tech Tom was very professional with me. Inspected the whole door and explained what exactly what needed done to make the repair. When he was done he showed me everything he replaced and everything he lubed . The door is running very smooth now. My wife even noticed how nice it opened

This is the second time I have called Precision to deal with my garage door, the first time years ago. I was hoping it could be repaired today and was happy to hear someone would be out between noon and 4. I was elated when Tom called and said he would be at my house in about 20 minutes—not even 30 minutes after my initial call! He repaired it in about 20 minutes and also greased it and was very kind. Hopefully the door will be working a long time, but if and when it breaks again I will definitely be calling Precision!

The spring bar broke on our garage door. Called Precision on Saturday morning thinking we wouldn't have access to the garage for days. After talking to the representative, she said someone would be at my home between 2 and 4 that day! I have seen your Trucks in the area and also your ads o TV. I had problems with my Door not coming down and thought you might be able to help me. I got an appointment immediately and the Technician Tom came out and located the problem, advised me of my options, we agreed on what was wrong and the price. The panels in our 20 year old garage door started cracking and sagging making opening and closing the door difficult and unsafe. Precision sent out a repairman (Tom Palmer) the same day. He was able to repair the door, and we were back up and running within a few hours of making our original call. Tom was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Also, very thorough in explaining the repairs he was making. The door is now working properly again and more importantly safe. Although the pricing we paid was higher than we thought it would be, we were very pleased with the quality of the service and repair and would highly recommend Precision Garage Door.

My initial call for repair was very good. I did not have to jump though a lot of hoops to talk with someone. They were exceptionally nice and scheduled my appointment for the very next morning. Tom, the service associate, was right on time, very nice and explained everything about the door and what needed repaired. I asked him to check the entire door (which he said he was going to do as part of the service). This is the original door when the house was built (17 years) and he once again explained and showed me what normally wears out and needs lubricated. We agreed on some additional repairs, and he had everything on the truck. I was very impressed. Thanks

My issue today was a keypad key that was sticking. The technician said all that could be done was to replace the keypad. I had the door openers installed in June 2023 by Precision. He suggested I check the warranty. I keep all the paperwork, brought it all to the technician, he noticed there is a 5 year parts & labor warranty, so he took a picture of the invoice showing the warranty line and replaced the key pad. All is good now thanks to the technician's suggestion.
