During a recent power outage, my garage door opener failed to work, even when connected to my backup (home) generator. I called Precision to check out the issue since I'd used them some years earlier when I had backed into my garage door and knocked it off track. This time, the problem was far more extensive as the entire system was broken (it was probably close to 20 years old or more). The guys who came did an excellent job of getting a new system in place, and also reinforced (braced) my garage door, which had become a bit bowed because of that earler mishap and was putting added stress on the motor. They very carefully explained everything they did and why, and showed me how it operated. It was a clean, efficient and friendly operation that told me I'd made the right choice in hiring Precision. Two times now, they've come through with flying colors, so I won't hesitate to call again if necessary.

2nd time we've used Precision and will keep coming back. Our first repair was to repkace spring and install new wheels. This visit we needed a new opener system since the old one would open and close on its own on occasion due to a fried circuit board (no joke), kind of scary especially when you arrive home and your home has been open for an unknown amount of time. This opener is a marked improvement over the old one, it's quiet, wi-fi controlled and has a good warranty. It also helps that we had the same service professional. I know its a business but Tom is just an all around good dude, honest and kind. Keep up the great work Precision!

I had Tom Palmer come out to see why my door occasionally would not go down when the opener was activated. He fairly quickly determined the problem, explained it to me, showed me pictures of where the opener was damaged and wrote me an estimate of what the repairs would cost. Once I agreed, he then said he could do it right then. In two hours I had a nice new opener, touchpad and remotes, along with new springs and a wooden brace base. Having trouble with my garage door opener. Called Precision and they gave me an appointment the following day. Their tech Tom came out and we reviewed my problem. I decided that my old opener needed replaced. Tom gave me a couple of options which included the total cost. I made my decision and Tom did a great job removing my old opener and installing my new one. He then took the time to review the operation of my new opener and answer my questions. Tom came out to give us an estimate on repairing the mechanisms on our very old garage door. The working parts needed to be replaced. He returned with Joseph that afternoon and worked very late to complete the job. A few days later, David came over to trim the rubber strip on the bottom of the door which was rubbing on the side of the garage. All the technicians were friendly, professional and very helpful. We are very pleased with the results. We were so used to a noisy garage door that my husband couldn't believe that the door was actually working as it was so quiet!
