Precision Garage Door Service of Columbus was an excellent choice. Their overall process was excellent from the scheduling to the Technician (Kortney) performing the service. They were true to their word that the tech would be on time and notify us 15 - 20 minutes before arrival. Everything was explained as to what needed to be done. An estimate was provided before anything was done to the garage door repair work and said work was done in a timely manner. I had Precision Garage Door install two new openers for me in December of 2022. The technician (Walker) suggested the belt drive units. They are fantastic... smooth operation and quiet. Today (8/12/25) I called about one of the openers making a noise. I was told that a technician would be at my home later in the same day. Fantastic! Walker showed up before the end of the scheduled time frame. He listened to it cycle one time and said "I know what that is". It was a bearing in the track. Walker was right on the money. He had the part on his van and had it replaced and working like new in just a few minutes. And the part and labor was covered by warranty. Walker is very knowledgeable, very friendly and extremely considerate of our property. He is a very nice young man. I would recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone needing this type of work done at their home. Thanks for a job well done.

On December 3rd we had two Genie Belt Drive door openers installed by Technician Walker. But prior to installation, Walker did a very thorough inspection of the door springs and safety features. He found the door spring bearings were getting bad, the springs themselves were getting weak(Walker demonstrated to me how the doors would roll down because the springs weren't supporting the doors properly), and the bottom door seals were extremely bad,in need of replacement. Walker showed me my options so far as the opener and repairs would be. With Walker's advice (and without any pressure) I decided on what to do. I called Precision Doors because lightning struck very close to our house and burnt up a Sequencer Assembly on one of my two doors. I was originally going to replace just the one opener, but since they were 24 years old, I decided to have Walker replace both openers and make any repairs necessary (springs and door seals). I had screw drive Genie openers, but I had Walker replace both with the Genie Belt Drives. They work fantastic, they're extremely quiet and I really like the wireless wall buttons. Walker did a fantastic job. He is very knowledgeable (I worked as a technician in industrial maintenance for almost 40 years, and I have worked on overhead doors in the industrial world, so I could tell that Walker knew his stuff) I would recommend Precision Doors and especially Technician Walker to anyone in need of garage door repair or replacement. Thanks Walker for doing such a fantastic job. I am very, very pleased.

This is the third time I've used Precision. As previous times before, I called and and got a very friendly voice and was assured someone would be at my house today, (Joe was there within an hour) and they would be able to fix the problem. Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable and did indeed fix my issues in a timely manner. He gave me several options on parts and their prices and let me decide what I wanted to install and spend with no pressure, instead of trying to sell me things I didn't need and at higher prices. I called precision garage door today, they scheduled a tech and provided me with a time frame when they would arrive. The receptionist was quick and easy to work with. Kayne called when he was in route, showed up on time and clearly explained exactly what was happening with our garage door. Because of how quick you could come and fix my garage door, You were the first one that could come fix the problem. Discussed the band aid solution and the total fix. I decided on the total garage door fix, springs, rollers, opener, cables, the whole shabang. At First when I saw the prices I was a little blown away, but when I heard I had a 7 year warranty of the whole thing it brought my worries down. Matt was my Garage door Tech and loved him more when I found out he served as well. I think Matt should get Garage Tech of the year from what I saw today when getting the garage door back up and running.

Alana M was the representative that came to my home. Alana is by far the best person I have ever had at my home that explained a product without being pushy or tell me what I wanted. I bought my house one year ago and it did need to have several things repaired, I have had several companies come to my home to give me estimates on service. I never bought from the first estimate, but I did with this product. I Recommend that you call Precision first. They installed new double springs, cable, rollers, adjusted the tracks, and reinforce my garage door opener brackets at a reasonable price. Waited 3 months after the installation to write this review ,to make sure everything was still in good working order.

The web sight was professional and very informative. I was impressed by the assurance that the technician would be uniformed and in a marked, dedicated service truck. He was prompt (on a Saturday afternoon no less) and quickly replaced our broken spring. We were held hostage by that broken garage door for 5 hours and were very relieved! Wonderful service!
