It's the nature of the beast. First, I had no immediate need for your services. I recently bought my condo and noticed squeaking from the garage door opener. I was wanting to be proactive and contacted your firm, and was thinking to set up a maintenance plan. When your company man came on the same day I called, that was fine. He was a good guy and indicated that the equipment was probably original, which is about 35 years old. I realized it's time to get new parts as needed and he came up with a quote of just over $2,000. It was sticker shock, yet I agreed to the price, though had no clue what needed to be done and the cost of each item. He was there for 3 hours, and itemized everything out, and I paid the bill. At the same time I don't know what exactly the replacement parts are, and don't know if I got a good deal or got taken to the cleaners. It would be good if someone would come out and go over the work done and match up the new parts, and verify the pricing. It's the first time I have ever dealt with a garage door issue, and I should have done some homework before contacting a garage repair firm.

David was outstanding. My garage door sensors decided to stop working just as I was leaving for an appointment. He called to let me know he would arrive within 15 minutes. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He diagnosed and fixed the problem sensors quickly and did a quick overall check of the garage door. Upfront reasonable pricing with no up charge for a weekend service!! Highly recommend!!

Our opener died yesterday morning. It's Saturday, it's cold, and the snow storm was predicted for today. I called a couple places but couldn't get an appointment until who knows when. I called your company and the lady said someone would be here between 12 and 4. I was thrilled! Dillon called on his way. He did a great job. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I felt so bad for him having to work, without gloves, as cold as it was. The door is opening and closing seamlessly. Between the super friendly lady that I spoke to on the phone (sorry that I forgot your name), to Dylan, the amazing technician that set my mind at ease, this company is top notch in every way. One of my torsion springs went bad and I actually called another company the night before. I did not have a good feeling with them right off the bat. The tech indicated that he had to remove the springs to get the sizing before he could give me a price. This should have been a red flag to me, but I let him proceed. After being quoted ridiculous pricing, and the tech dropping both springs from the shaft to the ground, I called Precision Garage Door of Columbus on the spot. The woman who took my call was kind, clear, and sympathetic to my situation. Within an hour, Dylan was at my home reviewing the work with me. Because of these two individuals, I immediately found trust and comfort in who I had hired. Dylan was very clear in his description of the work, and also stated that he would be replacing the shaft and additional parts to ensure that the garage door was completely safe for my family and I to be around. I was provided very fair pricing that was significantly less than what I was quoted with the first company. Dylan had the work completed in one hour, was polite, sympathetic to our situation, and very knowledgeable, answering all of my questions about the springs and proper maintenance. Precision won my business today, and for all future needs. Thank you for being a professional, courteous, trustworthy company. Yes, precision Garage Door of Columbus met my expectations…and then some. The phone representative gave me clear options. Tom Palmer, Technician, called ahead announcing when he would arrive. He was prompt, congenial and gave careful attention to explanation of needed service, as well as options. No rush. (Even the Invoice is helpful as it presents detailed disclosure of parts and prices.) An advertising coupon reminded me to call Precision Garage Door this time, but it was their past good work that gave me confidence to call again.

Just want to say that the service tech, Trevor, was outstanding in terms of understanding the issue I had and worked hard to resolve the problem. The door issue I had was unique and specific to the door bottom weather seal and how it contacted a very uneven cement garage floor. I'm satisfied with the outcome of Trevor's work. His customer rapport is excellent and you can easily tell he knows what he is doing. He works hard. Nice guy for sure. Everything was fully explained ahead of the work being done.

We called at 11:50am on Sunday and they were at our house by 12:50. Pat was very honest and gave us several options on fixing our door. Once we agreed on one, he was done in less than two hours. I highly recommend.

The person who installed my garage door was professional and did a good job installing the new opener. The poor rating is due to very poor response from the billing/accounting department. I have tried 3 times (twice via email and once via phone) since the work was done to obtain a receipt for the work done. I paid $929.00 at the time the service. No one is available at this time to speak to me so the dispatcher took a message for someone to call me. I don't have a high confidence level that I will receive a return call. I will not recommend your company in the future.
