2 new doors installed. Tech failed on multiple aspects. 1 spring was not tensioned properly, weather molding not attached properly, locks not installed and he couldn’t be bothered to replace the wire nuts on the trip sensors. Less than a bare minimum effort.

Pros: Arrived on time. Cons: Lack of transparency and inconsistent communication. I was initially told my existing lift system could not be repaired and was quoted nearly $3,000 for a full replacement. Based on that information, I felt pressured into moving forward. However, the work was ultimately completed for $500, which raises serious concerns about how the original quote was determined. Toward the end of the service, the technician mentioned that the real issue was a broken spring—and that they didn’t have the necessary parts to fix it. This was never clearly explained upfront. Had I known, I could have sourced the parts myself and potentially avoided replacing the entire system. By the time this was clarified, the replacement had already been installed, leaving me with little recourse. I’m also concerned about the quality of the new system, as it appears lower-grade and I’m not confident it justifies the cost. Overall, the experience felt misleading and left me questioning both the necessity of the work and the company’s pricing practices.

Very professional and knowledgeable technician. Offered alternatives for either a quick temporary fix or replace the 25 year old motors, etc with new units. Went with two new units that offered wifi, cameras, and led motion lights. All I can say is being pleased with the outcome and 7 year warranty. Also appreciated the follow up calls on apt. day.

A lot of the reason I chose Precision Door is due to all the commercials i see on TV. I called at 12;10pm, and Danny was at my house at 1:00!! He offered a solution that would help balance the door better so it is easier to open manually if I ever need to do so. The garage door opener (which is also old) seems to run better as well. Excellent service. Our garage door literally crushed on itself, warping the rails and the door to the point we could not close the door. Called Sunday afternoon. Spoke with a real person. Danny arrived within an hour and a half of the call. Danny took the time to analyze the mess and worked to figure out a fix. End of the appointment, we have a secure garage door. Looking forward to getting it replaced now. You all will be my first call from now on.

My garage door malfunctioned early on a Sunday morning and was terribly cockeyed and off track. My truck was trapped and I had a busy day scheduled. I called Precision Door at 8:30 am, a tech was at my home by 10:20 am, and the garage door was repaired and working better than before by 11:00 am. Precision Door tech "Danny" did a great job!

Frustrated, while I agreed with the cost of having my door repaired, I find the cost to be outragous for the 30 minutes worth of work that was required for the problem. I paid the $500 to have the cables and springs released and put back on. No parts were required no repairs were technically required, only tools and skill, and I get that his skill comes at a price, but $500 was excessive, I asked if that was the best they could do and he said that was the best. Granted I created the mess, I feel as though I was quoted an outragous price that didn't seem fair, but what do you do other than trust the company that comes out when you don't have the tools to fix the issue. The technician that came out was very polite and professional, but after the fact I feel as though I was taken advantage of because they knew I couldn't fix the problem myself. If the company feels this price is okay for 30 minutes of work then I have to live with that, skill comes at a price, I get that but $500 is a bit over the top.
