Went online around 11pm on a Saturday evening to see if I could line up something for the next week. To my surprise they had Sunday times available. Made an online appointment for Sunday morning. They called to confirm and he was out first thing Sunday. Everything was complete by 11a Sunday morning. Very quick process from start to finish. Quality service for a reasonable price

The technician analyzed the operation and found that the safety photo eyes were not working. He replaced them and the door began with. He did not adjust the height the door raises and after he left I discovered that it is too low. He also promised that I would receive a receipt for the parts & labor of this visit and a quote for a replacement door opener. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY BY EMAIL OTHER THAN THIS SURVEY. He represented Precision overhead door company as being courteous, new his product and explained all options before making a decision on which garage door opener that i wanted. Precision had all parts to assemble and replace old opener with little down time and cleaned up after installation. Thoroughly explained how to work opener and i am a very pleased customer. Called to schedule a service in the morning and had a technician at my home the same day. I was pretty sure I had a faulty garage door unit but I wanted confirmation from a professional. I was told there was a $55.00 service fee which was fine. The technician confirmed my initial thoughts and then said he had to charge me an additional $50.00 labor. I felt this was a bit excessive since nothing was fixed. He did perform an inspection of springs, pulleys etc..but the garage door was just installed 6 months ago so I knew all that was okay. I felt i had to have him do something for the additional $50.00 which the inspection took 5mins. I was then informed to call Genie and that it was a bad circuit board and that it was under warranty. I was then told it would be another $50.00 for the tech to return to install. I'm in the service business as well and I get the service charge and a $50.00 per hour labor rate but I feel the circuit board should be installed at no extra charge once it arrives, and or the additional $50.00 should not have been charged with the first service. Needless to say I will install the circuit board myself, and will not use precision door in the future. With that said Gregg the tech was very professional and actually showed up early for the appointment! He also called Genie and gave them all the information and confirmed the bad circuit board. Very helpful but I still feel I was overcharged.

The person answering the phone was polite and friendly; she didn't make you feel like you were interrupting her day by calling. Same day service, wow, unexpected but totally appreciated, thank you! Eric, our technician, was on time (actually early), polite and professional. He did a great job of diagnosing then fixing the problem. Eric exhibits pride in his work which is a trait lost with many in the service industry today. In conclusion, Precision gave me the impression they valued me as a customer; my recent experience left me feeling it was a win - win!
