I called for a simple spring replacement. The person on the phone said it would be $100-$300 for a spring replacement. The tech provided me with an initial quote of $1,555 to replace the 2 springs and shaft bearings. The springs are under $100, and the bearings are probably $10 in bulk. Tech took off the bearing replacement and said it would be $1,000. That is still way off, so he called his manager and then quoted $400. I felt like I was being scammed, so I asked the technician to leave. I found a local, reputable company to perform the service for $200. Sad, because I used Precision to install a complete garage door in Tampa for $999, and that included the install, rails, door, springs, and everything else. Not sure what this location is doing, but very scary.

I was so very impressed with every aspect of your service. I made an appointment for the very next day after I called at the exact time that I wanted. I was called a half an hour ahead of time to let me know that the service person was on his way. When he arrived at my house, he gave me a very thorough explanation of what was needed and what was going to be done. Every element of the repair was done perfectly and timely….and as he had discussed with me. I called the Precision this morning and I explained my garage door needed to be repaired as soon as possible since my garage would not open not allowing me to pull my vehicle out. They were able to get me an appointment with the times I was available. Walker my technician called me to let me know he was on his way and text me to let me know he was caught in traffic and would be 5 minutes later. Walker came in did an inspection with everything that he recommended to be repaired. He then went and wrote up the cost of everything and gave me my options of what needed to be done and explained everything. He was very precise and explained why this may have happened to my garage. I decided to go with all the recommendations and I was happy there was a warranty. I would highly recommend using Precision for all your garage repairs. The staff I dealt with was very professional and helpful.

My garage door malfunctioned early on a Sunday morning and was terribly cockeyed and off track. My truck was trapped and I had a busy day scheduled. I called Precision Door at 8:30 am, a tech was at my home by 10:20 am, and the garage door was repaired and working better than before by 11:00 am. Precision Door tech "Danny" did a great job!

Frustrated, while I agreed with the cost of having my door repaired, I find the cost to be outragous for the 30 minutes worth of work that was required for the problem. I paid the $500 to have the cables and springs released and put back on. No parts were required no repairs were technically required, only tools and skill, and I get that his skill comes at a price, but $500 was excessive, I asked if that was the best they could do and he said that was the best. Granted I created the mess, I feel as though I was quoted an outragous price that didn't seem fair, but what do you do other than trust the company that comes out when you don't have the tools to fix the issue. The technician that came out was very polite and professional, but after the fact I feel as though I was taken advantage of because they knew I couldn't fix the problem myself. If the company feels this price is okay for 30 minutes of work then I have to live with that, skill comes at a price, I get that but $500 is a bit over the top.

My garage door would not operate. I called their office and was greeted by a very professional and pleasant office personnel. She scheduled my appointment the same day and gave me a window of time that my service person would be coming. The tech called ten minutes before arriving. She listened and then went right to work. I felt sorry for her because it was about 19 degrees out. She figured out the problem and resolved the issues. She was great. I give her five stars also. I would and will recommend Precision to anyone who needs help with any garage door issues.

And they provided an accurate window for my appointment I called at 8:00am and they arrived within a couple of hours! Our installer, Jacob, was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We used Precision Garage Door when we had our new openers installed several years ago. Over time our keypads stopped working and not being good at home maintenance we just didn't get around to taking care of it. We did try switching out the battery and when that didn't work we just used our remote openers. However, I finally called Precision to come out and take care of it. First our appointment was scheduled quickly; the technician arrived on time, communication was excellent and the best part - there was no charge for the service!! I had an excellent experience with Walker Furpahs, the technician who repaired my garage door when the torsion bar system failed. He clearly explained that installing double springs would be a more suitable option given the size and weight of my door. Throughout the process, Walker meticulously described each step and his reasoning behind it. His attention to detail was evident as he carefully inspected all aspects of the repair. Despite it being 6:00 p.m. and his final appointment for the day, Walker ensured the project was completed to a high standard. Additionally, he fabricated a custom bracket from angle iron due to the absence of a stud, demonstrating resourcefulness where only half-inch wood over drywall was available for spring support. Rather than opting for a less secure solution, which could have resulted in future failure, he prioritized safety and durability. I highly recommend Walker Furpahs for any garage door service needs.
