Joe McCormish, the opener installer, did a great job. I was given a 4 hour window and he was here 15 minutes after the window started. Joe was friendly, courteous and discussed my options in detail. We have used these wonderful people three times over the years. Every time they have been wonderful. Friday I got home at 3:30. Garage door would not open. Went through the house to the garage. Chain was off the track. There is a Precision sticker on our garage wall. Called them and told them what was going on. Joe was at our home before 4:30. Check everything out. Show and told us what was going on with it. Opener needed replace. Gave us all the options they offered. New opener was up and running before 7:30. He even help me program our car and truck. Another wonderful experience with this company.

Pricing is exploitative. Representative played dumb that he didn't know he was selling me a $400 garage door opener for $1400. Also tried to sell me extra opener remotes for 10x the off the shelf price. He told me it was a 3 hour install job and he was done in 45 minutes. This business is a classic example of the Enshittification of everything these days. I'm guessing Precision Garage Door has sold out to some private equity group, and they are now squeezing every penny possible of the customer base. Praying for the comeback of local businesses that don't need an iPad to provide you basic services.

If you want to get ripped off - check out precision garage door. Yes, my garage made a horrible sound when it went up and down and needed some repairs but to pay - $4600+ for parts that cost less than $100 a piece to be replaced is crazy. See the invoice of what was replaced. I didn’t have the actual door itself replaced or the motor. Such a shame that my wife fell victim to getting ripped off like this.
