Reached out to get a quote on my garage door and was able to schedule it fairly quickly. Technician came out Sunday afternoon and was able to diagnose my garage quickly. I had a sagging/bowing garage door from it being hit and needed updated stronger parts too. Provided me with a run down of what needed done and then a few additional things that could be done if wanted to help prolong my garage doors life. Not that it was much $$$, but we did end up applying for financing with them and was approved but had to wait 24 hours before the loan was officially approved from Precision. There was some confusion on all sides but it got figured out and everyone was great about it! Same technician came out that Monday afternoon and got the work done and it looks great! Door works better than before and I can finally use it after months of not knowing what to do. Wish we reached out sooner to this company but it’s hard to find reliable and honest companies these days, so we lucked out with Precision. (Thank you Google!) Slapped one of their stickers on the garage door so when we sell the house, the next people know who to contact. Plus their warranties are transferable which is great!! (Would love to shout out the technician we had but can’t remember his name, if I do I’ll add it later. He was great!!)

With the power knocked out during the windstorm on 3/13, I quickly found out that the garage door spring had broken and I was not able to lift the door. Being the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised to schedule a repair for that Sunday! They had same day appointments available which was an extremely pleasant surprise!! Dylan showed up exactly when he said he would. Great service and install. My main problem is with pricing. The price is quite high and all components seem to have labor and warranty built into the price. Additionally, the installer was not very transparent about this and either didn't know or was trying to hide it. A quick Google of these actual part prices show they were charging more than 5x the actual cost of the part. I know you're running a business and I certainly expect some mark-up, but that seems excessive. I would have preferred a more itemized price breakdown where the labor and warranty dollar amounts are clear. That being said they did use quality components and the warranty is nice to have.

Our opener died yesterday morning. It's Saturday, it's cold, and the snow storm was predicted for today. I called a couple places but couldn't get an appointment until who knows when. Between the super friendly lady that I spoke to on the phone (sorry that I forgot your name), to Dylan, the amazing technician that set my mind at ease, this company is top notch in every way. One of my torsion springs went bad and I actually called another company the night before. I did not have a good feeling with them right off the bat. The tech indicated that he had to remove the springs to get the sizing before he could give me a price. This should have been a red flag to me, but I let him proceed. After being quoted ridiculous pricing, and the tech dropping both springs from the shaft to the ground, I called Precision Garage Door of Columbus on the spot. The woman who took my call was kind, clear, and sympathetic to my situation. Within an hour, Dylan was at my home reviewing the work with me. Because of these two individuals, I immediately found trust and comfort in who I had hired. Dylan was very clear in his description of the work, and also stated that he would be replacing the shaft and additional parts to ensure that the garage door was completely safe for my family and I to be around. I was provided very fair pricing that was significantly less than what I was quoted with the first company. Dylan had the work completed in one hour, was polite, sympathetic to our situation, and very knowledgeable, answering all of my questions about the springs and proper maintenance.
