I couldn’t get my garage door open when I needed to leave yesterday morning. I propped it open and when I came home, a technician from Precision was at my neighbors. I had used Precision before and was pleased with the help and job they did. I spoke to the man from Precision at my neighbor’s and he explained that I would need to make an appointment. Called to have a motor replaced. Was quoted $619. Once the motor replacement was completed I was told the motor wasn’t the problem, it was the cables & pullies that were old & faulted and those also needed replaced. To my amazement this increased the cost to $1425. This felt like a bait & switch. The tech was nice and did good work but I did not appreciate the fact that this wasn’t investigated and related to me until he had already done half the work needed to have a functioning garage door. Good work & quick response but I wouldn’t not recommend this company to anyone based in this experience

Our technician James was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Did not take him long to complete the job. The parts prices are really inflated based upon my investigation. The price should have been at least 30-40% lower. As with all service work these days the customer has little choice as we need to have the work done. Hope James is well paid. Dan

The day started off on the wrong foot. Springs broke so the door could not be opened. Called and a technician was there before I got off the phone explaining to my job I was going to have to work from home. James Damron handled everything from start to finish. Just needed to brief me on the estimate, and got to work. I did not know when he was done and tested it a few times. The new LiftMaster garage door opener is whisper quiet and opens the door 3X faster. I could have went to work when he was done, but decided to stay home and program my new toy. Very happy with everything.
