I’m happy with the work done on my garage door. The tech was very knowledgeable and informative on what needed done. He did a great job. I was however frustrated with the price. The tech installed probably $100 worth of parts at the price of $500. I fully understand nothing is free. I know the company had to make money on the job that was done. But $396 for a spring that cost around $50? That’s excessive. I should have at least gotten 2 springs for the price I paid.The first quote I got was $1800. I should have gotten a whole new garage door for that price.

It was a.pleasure to have James because he had previously done a big job for us. Again this time he knew exactly how to fix our problem with reprogramming our remote. We appreciate Precision sending him who is extremely knowledgeable to work on garage doors & remotes. I also like seeing a picture of who is coming to our house. Door repair request was made in the evening and appointment was confirmed for early next morning. Walker arrived on time, with all the equipment to make the repair in a timely manner. He even went out of his way to help me break down and remove some boxes not related to Precision's equipment. I am very happy with the service provided by Precision!

We had a great experience with Precision Garage Door Columbus. Our technician, Jacob, was excellent. He called ahead to provide an ETA, arrived right on time, and was very professional from start to finish. Jacob took the time to thoroughly inspect the system and clearly explain what was going on with our garage door. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we understood our options without feeling pressured into a big repair. Unfortunately our motor is at the end of its lifespan, so the issue couldn’t be fully fixed today, but he still serviced what he could and even applied a discount because of the situation. We really appreciated Jacob’s honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help us understand the condition of our system. Technicians like Jacob are a great reflection of the company and deserve recognition for the quality of service they provide. Overall it was a very positive experience, and we will definitely keep Precision Garage Door in mind when we move forward with replacing the system.

We had a death in the family when our garage door snapped. It could not be repaired. Precision sent Johnny out the same day to install a new one. It was a difficult time for all of us, and this company and Johnny were kind, compassionate and empathetic. You don’t see many companies like this anymore. I highly recommend them!

It's the nature of the beast. First, I had no immediate need for your services. I recently bought my condo and noticed squeaking from the garage door opener. I was wanting to be proactive and contacted your firm, and was thinking to set up a maintenance plan. When your company man came on the same day I called, that was fine. He was a good guy and indicated that the equipment was probably original, which is about 35 years old. I realized it's time to get new parts as needed and he came up with a quote of just over $2,000. It was sticker shock, yet I agreed to the price, though had no clue what needed to be done and the cost of each item. He was there for 3 hours, and itemized everything out, and I paid the bill. At the same time I don't know what exactly the replacement parts are, and don't know if I got a good deal or got taken to the cleaners. It would be good if someone would come out and go over the work done and match up the new parts, and verify the pricing. It's the first time I have ever dealt with a garage door issue, and I should have done some homework before contacting a garage repair firm.

Jake came out on the evening of 3-13 to look at the garage door. He gave us a price on getting the old door open that evening. After speaking to the office he gave us a price on a new door and install for the next morning. We choose this option. Jake was very professional and pleasant. We appreciated that he was able to come that evening and was able to offer solutions that could be preformed that quickly. Lake came the next morning. He too was very professional and pleasant. He took out the old door and installed the new one very fast. He explained everything he did, left us a can of spray for the door, told us to call the office if we have any questions at all. I also spoke to 2 people from your company on the phone before making the first appointment. Both were very nice and helpful. To us this is what customer service should be. Cameron came on Saturday during the weekend due to our garage door cannot close. He is the best technician, and very professional and skillful in fixing our garage door. He also identified a potential belt issue with the other garage door. When replacing multi products from springs, motor, belts even screws, he clearly explained why the problems occurred provided solutions. He worked constantly to complete the replacement for both doors. Cameron has a very nice personality and a strong sense of responsibility. We are very happy to have had him work on our home. Thanks!
