The experience was perfect. I could not have asked for anything more. The technician, Imani, was professional, on time and very cordial. She assessed my situation and gave me an estimate on repair. Once agreed on the work, she took her hour or so to fix the problem as expected, balanced the weight of the door and lubricated all parts. The garage door is back in perfect condition. And this was in cold and windy conditions. Again, I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. My hats off to Precision, you run a great company!

Dylan came out on time of the scheduled appointment, looked everything over, and gave me an estimate for a new one, which was reasonable. He did a fantastic job and cleaned everything up.

The service I received was excellent. Mike McCllelan was the technician and very knowlegeable and efficient. I was a little surprised at the price but my old unit was 25 years old, so that's how it is. But good service in a very timely manner. The problem presented at about 5:00 pm and Mike was all finished before 7:30 pm. Can't beat that!

Tom came by to fix my garage door. It would open but not close all of the way. I scheduled an appointment online and they were here in 2 hours. Tom noticed that my sensor was bent. (I think I ran into it). He bent it back and fixed the issue. Thank you so much for the prompt and efficient service!!

Pricing is exploitative. Representative played dumb that he didn't know he was selling me a $400 garage door opener for $1400. Also tried to sell me extra opener remotes for 10x the off the shelf price. He told me it was a 3 hour install job and he was done in 45 minutes. This business is a classic example of the Enshittification of everything these days. I'm guessing Precision Garage Door has sold out to some private equity group, and they are now squeezing every penny possible of the customer base. Praying for the comeback of local businesses that don't need an iPad to provide you basic services.

We had previously used Precision for repair work on a broken spring. When our door would not open but would close we anticipated a hefty bill for replacement. Tim found that an umbrella leaned against wall while loading had blocked the sensor. We expected at least a service charge but we were not billed anything. Technician was a friendly guy. Alerted him of the problem, he let me know the estimate to fix my functional existing garage door opener. After further investigation, it was determined that it could not be repaired and couldn't be put back together, functional and in its pre-existing condition. While I'm not necessarily questioning the technician, the situation put me in the position to pretty much buy another one on the spot. Could I have refused? Yes, but then I would have had to do another round of research and get second opinions on something that I thought was a $200 repair and not a $1,600 purchase. Just wasn't comfortable how it went down. The technician did a great job of installing and it works very well so far.

Precision Garage Door Service of Columbus was an excellent choice. Their overall process was excellent from the scheduling to the Technician (Kortney) performing the service. They were true to their word that the tech would be on time and notify us 15 - 20 minutes before arrival. Everything was explained as to what needed to be done. An estimate was provided before anything was done to the garage door repair work and said work was done in a timely manner. I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone needing such repair work. Very pleased!

I called for a simple spring replacement. The person on the phone said it would be $100-$300 for a spring replacement. The tech provided me with an initial quote of $1,555 to replace the 2 springs and shaft bearings. The springs are under $100, and the bearings are probably $10 in bulk. Tech took off the bearing replacement and said it would be $1,000. That is still way off, so he called his manager and then quoted $400. I felt like I was being scammed, so I asked the technician to leave. I found a local, reputable company to perform the service for $200. Sad, because I used Precision to install a complete garage door in Tampa for $999, and that included the install, rails, door, springs, and everything else. Not sure what this location is doing, but very scary.

We have used Precision for years and they never fail to impress us. Tim was no exception. Our garage door spring broke early Sunday morning on the coldest day of the season. We called Precision not knowing if it were even possible to get someone out that day and within a couple hours ( exactly as promised) Tim arrived to fix the entire problem. From the pleasant woman that answered the early call to completion, we were 100% satisfied. We have always been impressed with the professionalism, quality of service, and expertise of the installers at Precision. It is an A+ organization through and through. This was my second time using Precision Door. The first time we had a new door opener installed. When my door wouldn't open this time I assumed (incorrectly) it was a problem with the opener. Imani came the next day even with winter storm warnings issued. The door opener was fine but Imani found the issues quickly, explained everything, and fixed the problems for us. She was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant. We are so happy she was our assigned technician. We highly recommend Imani and Precision Door company.

This is my second use of services from Precision Garage Doors. The first was about 12 years ago at a prior residence to replace a broken spring on a garage door. The work was done promptly and professionally. The second service being at our newer residence to replace the entire garage door rod and spring assembly. The company dispatched a technician, Jake Jones, who arrived in two hours. He disclosed various options to replace the ten year old rod and spring mechanism installed by the condo builder that had failed. Jake then installed the new rod and spring mechanism option we chose in two hours. A great job. I highly recommend Precision Garage Doors and will use them in the future. Our condo has two single garage doors. If/when the other garage door door has issues so should
