My garage door opener was 16 years old & recently been having issues. I talked to other realtors & got good feedback on Precision. Jake Jones came out-called before arriving & introduced himself-showed up on time & reviewed our situation. After he got done with his investigation he showed me what he found & explained our options. We decided the best course was to replace the opener. He had all the items & completed the entire thing in little more than an hour. Then he helped me program my cars. Jake was very professional & took his time. Cleaned up & told us he would come back if we had any issues. All in all a great experience & would highly recommend to anyone needing service

Our garage door (two-car and pretty heavy) was in need of repair due to a broken spring. This occurred on Sunday morning, July 6. Having had excellent prior experience with Precision Garage Door at a previous residence, we called and arranged a repair visit for that same day. The technicians arrived within the specified arrival window (between 10: am and noon) and did an excellent job of making the repair and providing recommendations after inspecting all of the garage door components. I used Precision to repair our garage door opener approximately one year ago and was very pleased with their professionalism and quality of work performed. So when we experienced some additional problems I contacted Precision to assess the problem and recommend the appropriate repairs. Unfortunately the motor, spring and peripherals all needed to be replaced. Everything was explained and all the repairs were completed quickly and professionally. Excellent job! Super sweet tech, not his fault but it costs me $270 for him to take less than 5 min to bend the sensors back into place. Never felt so cheated in my life. Got quotes for new opener and install and markup on openers is unbelievable. Quotes were between $1,100 - $1,300. Place is crazy over priced, which I don’t believe friendly customer service makes up for. After research, the average cost for unit and labor to replace a garage door opener is $250 -$750. I only need residential grade, but even with a commercial grade opener, $1,100 is steep and outside the realm of reality. I had used this company a few years ago and did not have this issue.

Lynne Barone. Precision installed a new garage door opener and miscellaneous parts for the door in November. This past weekend the garage door was not closing --it would stop part way and then go back up. I called precision this morning at 8:00. The person on the phone was very pleasant and scheduled someone for today. The problem is now fixed. the technician was very friendly, thoroughly explained the problem and corrected it. No charge because of the warranty. This company lives up to their advertising and has earned its reputation.

I would have given a 5, however I haven’t received a receipt for the work. Techs were on time, did excellent work. Supposed to have a warranty, but I have received no documentation to validate the installation or the purchase, or the warranty.

Scheduled a spring repair at 1:30 in the afternoon and was fixed by 6:00 p.m., I'm not sure how you can expect much more than that as a consumer! Jake J. was the technician assigned the ticket. He was outstanding! Reached out with an ETA and arrived shortly thereafter. He inspected ALL the components on the affected door. Installed the new spring and made adjustments until he was satisfied with the function of the door, opening and closing it freehand. Lubricated hinges and rollers as necessary and tested the door with the opener. Offered some advice with respect to maintenance going downrange. Communication from Precision was on point as they sent an email confirmation on the appointment once scheduled and alerted me via email that the technician would be reaching out. Best money I've spent on a repair in a long time. Highly recommend!!!
