We had a new opener installed in August of 2021 and had the wireless app installed for remote garage door opening through our smart phone. All worked well until we upgraded our internet service to 5G a month ago. Now the phone app won’t work. This was the reason for the service call. Service tech stated that unfortunately there is no fix for this. Now I know that our opener/opener app won’t work with the 5G internet. Guess we’ll just have to live with the issue.

Tech Dustin K's other excellent reviews are absolutey without question. Most helpful for me was his clear descritpion of needed repairs, inculding actually showing me the defective parts needing replacement. An employee's excellence is only possible if management's focus on the bottom line includes the importance of true customer satisfaction. Rapp/Precision is not the least expensive garage door service provider, but "you get what you pay for" truly applies.

Everything was great, the tech took the door off and installed all new supports and the door and was only here about three hours. When I inspected the door and pay for the service, I was informed the tech let someone take the old door. I was charge 100 dollars to dispose of the old door and don't think it fair practice to charge me something that was not completed. I would like a 100 dollar refund added back to the card use for the service. Thank you James Salyers.

Living in Newark, was surprised they came within 3 hours after I called. Tim T. was very pleasant, courteous, efficient and wore a mask the whole time, as opposed to other service people in recent months. He gave us several options to choose from, The only drawback was that he was such a good salesman, a simple spring replacement was upgraded to be pricier than what we planned, but it was our choice.

Had a broken spring. Precision was able to come out within 3 hours to fix it. Other components were sold to me and replaced also. I was not aware they were needed but trusted the technician's explanation. It was expensive but with the 7 year warranty, I should be worry free.

After an evening call to their 24/7 service line , they were out to my house next morning. Jason was pleasant, very knowledgeable, explained what was needed and gave me 3 different options for repair. He had all the needed supplies and was done in little more than 90 min.They may be on the high end price wise for repairs done ,based on my quick research before service, {i'm om a fixed income}but the quick response and their policy on warranty made up for it. The quick service avoided stress of calling several companies and possibly not being able to get my car out of garage in an emergency. Sometimes you pay a little more for great customer service.

To be honest I am still not very pleased with the price of the spring replacement which almost came close to the total price of the overall door replacement that I made seven years ago, spring inclusive from another company. I will say that the service job performed was outstanding and the technician really did a great job explaining all that needed done. it is nice that the replacement has a seven year parts and labor warranty and was great to have the job completed the very next day after I called in the evening. I just feel the price of one thousand dollars is way too high to pay for a spring replacement and more than likely will shop around for estimates the next time as I have never paid this much in the past before but perhaps the costs have risen this much with all companies. This is my first time using this company.

Service techs (Dave and Dave) were excellent. Got here early on a Saturday, gave multiple repair options and zero pressure. Replaced two springs, bearings, and a few brackets and door works great! My only complaint is the price - I went with the lowest price option and it was $1200…seems pricey for two hours of work using basic parts. Two average springs for $300 each? 4 hinges at $25 each (I can buy these at Wal Mart for about $6/each)? End bearing plates - 2 at $120 each? I guess I was thinking it would be around half of that but next time I will get a second opinion. My suggestion would be to use this company if you need quick service but if you have the time explore other options.

One of our door springs broken trapping a car inside. I called at 9:30PM - tech was there at 11:45AM the next day for a promised 12-4PM repair window. Tom the technician was very friendly and got our broken spring fixed quickly. I would have Tom back any time. Probably a little more expensive than I would have thought (that is why only 4 out of 5 stars), but overall a very smooth process with good people.
