I was pleasantly shocked at how nice and knowledgeable your technician, Patrick Mulligan, was yesterday.. I explained to Patrick that my garage door seemed to be working fine, but I wanted some preventive maintenance done. Patrick explained to me the various levels of maintenance he could service, and the cost of each. Totally my choice! No high pressure! As he finished the job, Patrick explained to me exactly what he had done. Excellent follow-up! As far as your company’s response. I called late in the afternoon this week, Patrick arrived at approx. 8:20 a.m. the next morning, calling me first, that he was on his way. Excellent service! The only suggestions I want to give is that I think you could cut back on your TV ads, and you need more detail on this page concerning the service done. Look at my case. I probably used 6 service jobs on your list, and you only gave me one choice! Thank You.

My service was OUTSTANDING! David called me around 11:00 and said he was in my area and if I was free he could come over now instead of 4:00pm. I wasn’t home but told him that was fine I would meet him there. We both arrived at exactly the same time . He was very polite and took the time to explain what was wrong and what I needed to fix my issues. When he was finished he took some extra time to help make sure the opener in my car was working as well as the remotes, keypad, and button by my back door. He also showed me how to change the light bulbs in the motor box. In my opinion his customer service skills are the best I’ve ever seen. I hope I don’t have another issue for quite a while but if I do I will certainly ask that you send him. He also cleaned up and took all the old parts with him. My garage door really is a lot more quiet now. Thanks Mike ODell

Because you are a Genie dealer, I made appointment for a technician to come replace my keypad on August 1. After the keypad was replaced, I was looking for an itemized receipt showing the costs for the keypad and the costs for labor. I received a receipt, only after calling to request one, which showed the cost of the keypad to be $173 and then $20 for “fleet maintenance”. There was no itemization and it really looks like I got gouged for the keypad. When my husband called, Kimberly told him that the company would knock at least $93-$100 off the payment and refund it to our card. That was on August 1. It is now August 6. The money has not yet been refunded - AND - when the keypad was used to leave the house today, it FELL APART IN PIECES!!!! We will be calling later to address that with your company. I am so disappointed with your service and explanation of costs that I wish I could give ZERO STARS!!!!

This was a great experience all the way around. Megan came out to the house and knew so much about garage doors! I ended up getting one with little windows, and it's a game changer. No more walking into a dark cave! And it has a lot of curb appeal. I never thought I would be excited about a garage door, but I love it and it changed the whole look of my house. It came in on time and Joe did a great job installing it. I'm glad I got the door with insulation, so it won't be so cold in the winter. Also, the decorative handles are magnetic, so you can put them wherever you want. I love it!!!

Our 7-18-2024 garage door opener replacement and door maintenance by Gary from Precision was one of our best home improvement experiences. With the heightened increase of storms in our area and possible electric outages, we wanted to be sure we could always leave/enter our garage. Gary clearly explained the battery back-up openers available from Precision, including all of the costs involved with each. There was no pressure at all in this selection process, just good information. While installing the new opener, Gary identified non-opener situations with our garage door that caused some operational problems we had described to him, and we authorized fixing those issues as part of this job. The result of installing a new opener and fixing those door issues has been a revelation: the door now opens and closes very smoothly with little noise, no more jerking and clattering, and the battery back-up works perfectly. We would definitely recommend Precision (and Gary) to anyone needing garage door work.

On initial telephone contact, I was left with the impression that they could replace the original springs, and they promised a promotional price for the pair. The service tech arrived promptly as promised. But the first thing was that the entire spring system had to changed over to coil springs. Several very expensive parts were needed to perform this. The tech prepared an estimate which included the originally promised spring price and an additional discount. Although the total was much higher than anticipated, and since I can no longer do this kind of work, I gave the go-ahead. On the positive side . . . The service tech was cheerful, friendly, informative and polite. He performed the replacement quickly, efficiently, and safely, completely cleaning up after himself. The result is a smooth running, quiet door. In summary, i can highly recommend Precision for their service and product quality. Just be prepared to pay!

Our technician, David was professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem right away, the springs and explained how and why it happened. While it was not great craftsmanship from the previous installers he was upfront about pricing and what needed to be done. We went with the powder coated springs because we do use our garage door a good amount. I thought he was a great guy who did a stand up job!!

The service tech was kind and friendly and very helpful and took time to explain everything clearly. Even though he offered “a $50 off coupon” the price for what took about 10 minutes to complete was still too high. It was just a matter of getting my garage door opener system reset and working (included reprogrammed the outside keypad). For just that I was charged approximately $160.00. That to me is unusually high for 10 minutes. Also I did not receive a paid receipt in my email which I expected to receive. I would still like to have a paid receipt.

Four years ago, we had Precision install a new door system. The gentleman (Tim) that came to our house reviewed the damaged system and recommended it be replaced. He installed a new door opener. He was very thorough, and we didn't have an issue until this week. One of the springs had to be replaced. Tim related the fact he remembers us because he was the one that did our first repair. He also reminded us that the system was under warranty. Tim did the repairs and maintenance. He was very friendly and finished the repairs in less than a 1/2 hour. We are very happy with Precisions response and level of service.

I called Precision because I could not get my garage keypad to connect to the opener motor. David arrived on time! He diagnosed the problem and had my door working quickly. David was friendly, professional and knowledgeable!
