I never write reviews but I was so impressed with the service I received, I'm here to give you five stars! I arranged an appointment with a competitor--and had to schedule more than a week in advance. But no one showed up or called after I waited for two hours. Then I called Precision and they sent Dustin out later that same day. He was super nice and solved my problem without hassles or additional visits. I have already recommended Precision to my neighbors! Well done!

Tom was knowledgeable and professional about what needed done. Very friendly, never felt like I was being given a sales pitch. I was given options for the repairs. After 19 years, our garage door opener failed. We also had a broken spring, which is what prompted me to call Precision at around 3 pm today. Dustin arrived by 6 pm, and worked while we ate dinner and left us with a new system that was probably long overdue. He was personable, well versed in his field, and helpful in every way. I could not recommend Dustin and Precision more confidently. I’ve used new start ups in the past, never again. Great job, Precision !

Gary Lemaster provided perfect service: he was friendly, prompt, very knowledgeable and informative. He replaced the key pad, springs, rollers in a very timely manner. Precision has replaced my springs in the past and were great, so when things stopped working, they were the right company to call. The technician was down to earth and friendly. The fix was easy, but while he was here he inspected the rest of the door an opener and made a few adjustments.

I broke my garage door Sunday evening. Was able to get the car inside so called Precision Monday morning at 8:30. Was scheduled for service between 10 am and 2 pm. Service tech called about 9:45 to say he'd arrive in about 30 minutes. He arrived at 10:15. We reviewed my problem--the door was uneven--the right side was closing about 1 inch off the floor. The technician, Dustin K, operated the door with the door opener to see what was going on. Then he disconnected the garage door opener and operated the door by hand. It was hard to raise and slammed down. His analysis was that the springs were not operating correctly--there was not enough tension. He also identified a damaged cable--that was my fault. He gave an estimate of what needed to be replaced and the price. He replaced both tension springs and the cable and adjusted to door. Now it works perfectly. I approved his recommendation. He completed the work in about half and hour and encouraged me to operate the door opener. Every thing worked perfect. His charge was equal to his estimate. Dustin seemed to know what he was doing, did it right and within his estimate. He was personable and easy to work with. I recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and would certainly use them again if I need service.

Our garage door went out today and Precision was able to come out same day which was awesome. Derek was our technician. He was knowledgeable, respectful, nice, and seemed very genuine. He broke down our different options and we ended up customizing a bit but overall it was a very pleasant experience. We needed a new 16 foot rubber gasket along the bottom of the garage door. I called on a Friday afternoon and they said someone would arrive between 10 and 12 noon on Saturday. They quoted the price. The next day at 10:45 AM the tech arrived and in 30 minutes had completed the work. The billed price was as quoted... no surprises. I was very satisfied.

I debated between a 1 and 2 stars. Precision was quick to respond to our broken torsion spring and the tech was professional. That was the only good thing for them. In this area of Columbus there are many garage door repair companies and as due diligence called several to obtain a quote. I explained everything that was needed and what the issue was; gave them exact measurements of the torsion spring and that I would need 2. They said it would be $80-$250, max would be $250. When I called other companies it was anywhere from $220-$350 max for both springs and was upfront about their process. I confirmed that it was for both torsion springs and not just the one. They confirmed. Great! Went with precision. After the repairman looked at the springs, ball bearings, and the motor in all he said it was in all good condition and needs new springs. He did mention that the ball bearings were wearing down and they may have about 2-3 more years left in them. I asked how many and he said $240 for all bear bearings, $80 a piece. I said okay, worth it to keep it longer and not have further issues down the road. Then when all was said and done he said the total was going to be ~$800 taxes included. $800! How does $250 (max) plus the $240 for the ball bearings equal $800. The tech replied that each spring is $250. I told him what his coworkers told me and he said they don't know what they are talking about. They never know prices. Maybe the company should be more communitive between repairman and the office. Why quote different prices? So if you wish to pay three times what the quoted price is, go with these guys. I wish I would have said no and gone with another company that was more upfront and does free estimates onsite. If I would have said no to them they would have charged $50 for coming out. Go somewhere else if you don't want to be surprised with costs and be lied to about the quotes. I understand that quotes are just quotes but to be off by three times is ridiculous.

I may be back for future garage needs as Precision’s customer service is AMAZING! I had posted my review and within 5 minutes got a call from the representative. She cared what I had to say and how my experience went. I was not expecting any form of reimbursement or anything to really come out of this review. But the fact is they care about their customers and offered to make things right. They definitely turned this around from a 1-2 start to a 4 star. Thank you! (The only reason I wouldn’t give it a 5-star is because it wasn’t right the first time but thank you for making it right after the fact.)
