Bottom Line - Adam H did a great job. I called Precision at 11 AM with both cars stuck in the garage and Adam arrived at 1:30. Slightly over an hour later he had replaced the old ( 5 years and 2 months old) Torquemaster that had failed with a new tested torsion spring system. I also upgraded the rollers to the sealed bearing design and he eliminated the noise that the original installer was unable to fix. Very professional and efficient.

This is our 2nd/3rd house with a Precision Garage door. They did the sale/install/service on our two new garage doors in 2021/2022. Due to our builder not seeming to understand that 'flatwork' concrete under garage door is to be......flat :)..... it had a 1" bow/peak in middle. Precision adjusted the then new GD a few times and then installed an extra thick/large gasket at bottom to make it weather tight. Now, a year later, I finally had the concrete cut out and re poured to actually be flat but then needed the garage door to come down more/seal. Guy came out today was awesome, personable and adjusted it quickly but then also took the time to chat me through a few other things to keep my eye on. We were lucky to find Precision.

Technician Derek came and explained what is causing the problem we were dealing with. He also recommended what would be the best option for us, so we went with his recommendation. The tech, Gary, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He arrived just before the stated appointment time started after calling to say that he was on his way. He gave me options for the repair without doing a hard sell. The work was completed in good time, quicker than I anticipated. No mess was left behind. Would I use this company again? Yes, in a heartbeat! This is the type of employee than companies need to represent them.

I was so beyond impressed and appreciate the service this company did for us. I called early afternoon today for a repair to our garage door. They were able to put me on the schedule for today. Gary (A) called me about 20 minutes later and was at our house 20 mins after that. He diagnosed the issue, gave me 2 repair options and fixed it, all within an hour or less. I'm more than pleased with the repair and service PGD provided yesterday. The technician, James, was very professional with his assessment of what was needed and explaining what options were available. If my upcoming surgery wasn't in the way of some of the upgrade options, I would have done so. I did follow some of his recommendations for the repair. It cost more, but I have peace of mind that I won't have any more problems with the garage door. James is a pro, that's for sure. PDG may have cost a little more than other contractors, but their professionalism and attention to details was well worth the cost. I highly recommend them if you want the job done right the first time.

While he was here, he noticed a couple things that were potential future problems and fixed them as well. Communication was terrible--service tech told me I had three options to get my garage door working... #1 Good $1155; #2 Better $1515 or #3 Best $1715... no description of what I was getting, only that if I went with #2 it would have a 10 year warranty. So based on seeing a screen on his phone with just the information show above (no details)... I picked the middle #2! After the service, I received an e-mail showing the options listed above with the details of what all was included (first time to know what I was getting)... AND I noticed, the warranty is only for 7 years NOT 10! They have no paperwork, no pamphlet, no warranty certificate indicating what is and what is not covered. Later, I received an e-mail from the owner of the company-asking me to write a review-but if "for any reason you are not totally satisfied, I would consider it a favor if you called and gave me the opportunity to redress the situation". So I called, obviously I was not permitted to talk directly to him. I talked with someone who argued with me and told me the office manager would call me back... that was on 5/15,,, NO ONE HAS CALLED! Be careful, ask for proof of what you are getting, know your warranty, ask for paperwork! Hopefully, if anything does go wrong they will honor their service?????
