good installation, prompt service, showed up on time. I was curious about the My Q, seemed like Gary didn't want to go over this with me. He did take time to look at my home link. Also, I would have appreciated a summary of the costs before the work was done. I was requoted what was told to me over the phone. Seems like a strange way to sell a product and/or service.

The installation is professional but the price is outrageous! Can you imagine the spring cost $163 each and it was suggested to have two installed! Ask for a handy man to do the job rather than get gouged be the cost of the parts! Avoid if you can! The cost of the spring shouldn't cost more than $100 for the pair rather than $326 for the pair plus the cost of installation. I will make sure this review gets posted on other third party review site to benefit a fair opinion on the repair service.

Please know that when it comes to replacing hardware on your door, (in this case, your springs) we only install top-of-the-line hardware at Precision Door. We always recommend and encourage a customer to replace both springs for a couple different reasons: 1) Their safety. Assuming both springs are the same age, either spring could have broken. When a single spring is replaced, the pre-existing spring now has new hardware to contend with and often times, can break the same day or shortly thereafter. 2) The new spring has to work harder, in order to makeup for the toss of torque the pre-existed, fatigued spring has endured during it's life. This can shorted the life of your new spring. We want to ensure you're getting the best quality, life and value out of every Precision repair. I was very pleased with the service provided by Precision. Our garage door spring broke the day after Christmas, and I was able to contact Precision and make an appointment for the next day. John, the service technician, arrived within 15 minutes of the start of the appointment window (they provided a two hour window), reviewed the situation (he seemed very knowledgeable), replaced the springs and serviced the door. All within about half an hour of arrival. And the price was quite reasonable for the products and service provided. I will continue to use Precision for all future garage door needs, and would highly recommend them to others.

We searched the internet and picked your company for two reasons: 1) Same day repair 2) The excellent reviews from customers. The customers were right. I loved that on your confirmation email that you provided a picture of the service technician's and who were be coming to do the repair. Don't think i have ever seen that done before. We called the company at 3:00 PM two days before Christmas and they were able to scheduled us for that very evening. The emergency repair charge was actually cheaper than others. Gary was actually 1/2 hr earlier than scheduled. Very pleasant individual and knew his stuff. The garage doors had come off the tracks. He corrected the issue quickly and explained what was wrong and what he did to fix the problem. I was able to go to bed that night not having to worry about the garage door being open all night and into the next day.

John did an excellent job on my garage door springs. He suggested placing 2 springs instead of just replacing the 1 so that there was not as much pressure on the door. The door is now a lot easier to lift manually. Thanks John for a job well done.

Professional, timely, and friendly service. We received snow in the morning and the traffic held Tim up some. He called me to say he was going to be 1/2 late. Upon arrival Tim assessed the broken spring issue and checked out this very old garage door setup. I was pleasantly surprised about how fast he was able to replace the broken spring. He asked me to see the operation of the door to ensure I was happy with the service before making the payment. I highly recommend this company.

The first big snow storm and my garage door breaks. I called the company and they sent a technician out, through the snow and serviced my door. A flag got wrapped around the side wheels pulling the cable off track, resulting in the door coming off the roller. John was able the realign the track, rewrap the coils and get the door properly aligned and working. Very satisfied with the work done. I Appreciate the promptness that this emergency was seen to. Having a garage door that does not close was not an option. Thank you, Debbie

Tim was on time to install my new door. Price for door and installation was a little high, but service was prompt and friendly. Only disappointment (so far ...) was that I ended up having to clean up debris from the garage floor, including a couple of bolts from the installation that would have ruined my tires.

Thank You! You are a First Class organization. My spring had sprung over the weekend and I called you on Monday morning. Tim arrived for his scheduled time of 4pm; in fact, he was early and beat me there to my house. Once there, he assessed the situation and went right to work. He was done within an hour. The person answering the phone was polite and friendly; she didn't make you feel like you were interrupting her day by calling. Same day service, wow, unexpected but totally appreciated, thank you! Eric, our technician, was on time (actually early), polite and professional. He did a great job of diagnosing then fixing the problem. Eric exhibits pride in his work which is a trait lost with many in the service industry today. In conclusion, Precision gave me the impression they valued me as a customer; my recent experience left me feeling it was a win - win!

He installed the new opener and corrected faults from the older units installation to ensure proper operation of the new unit. He explained what he had done and how to properly operate the new opener and maintain it. All in all very satisfied.
