Hello, I called Precision Door because you have helped me in the past, as well as my sister who lives across town. Both of us were impressed with your service technitions because they were knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and professional. Since my home is 20 years old, I did not want to put more money into fixing something that old with out-of-date technology. Tim went right to work and upgraded the system. It runs so quietly now and I feel well taken care of. Thank you for running such a professional business; there aren't many like that these days. It has taken a big weight off my shoulders.

Our garage door was not closing correctly so we called Precision Door to address. Mohammad came out to look over the issues. He was very polite and explained all the issues with the mechanical systems and how replacing the parts would make the door operate smoothly. Once the work was completed the door slides easily and is very quiet while operating.

This was a great experience all the way around. Megan came out to the house and knew so much about garage doors! I ended up getting one with little windows, and it's a game changer. No more walking into a dark cave! And it has a lot of curb appeal. I never thought I would be excited about a garage door, but I love it and it changed the whole look of my house. It came in on time and Joe did a great job installing it. I'm glad I got the door with insulation, so it won't be so cold in the winter. Also, the decorative handles are magnetic, so you can put them wherever you want. I love it!!!

Four years ago, we had Precision install a new door system. The gentleman (Tim) that came to our house reviewed the damaged system and recommended it be replaced. He installed a new door opener. He was very thorough, and we didn't have an issue until this week. One of the springs had to be replaced. Tim related the fact he remembers us because he was the one that did our first repair. He also reminded us that the system was under warranty. Tim did the repairs and maintenance. He was very friendly and finished the repairs in less than a 1/2 hour. We are very happy with Precisions response and level of service.

My garage door broke early in the morning and was able to book an appointment first thing in the morning. Matt Eberly showed up and explained what broke and the solutions available. I was contacted by phone a few minutes after submitting an online request. Technician Jason was at our house within an hour of submitting the request. I was very pleased with the service provided today by Adam Huston this morning. Adam was friendly and professional, explained the issue and made the repair quickly. He also identified other issues with the door that would cause issues in the future. The opener was 7-years old and needed maintenance. I was also pleased Precision has same day service because of an appointment later today. I certainly had to get my car out of the garage. Highly recommend Precision and will use them in the future.

Tim did a great job, my 3 garage doors and Liftmasters were well past the 20+ year mark and were in need of replacement. Tim did all 3 in one day and set all my remotes to work before he left. I've been a Precision customer for a many years. Only 45 minutes passed from the time I called Precision to schedule a service call until John A. pulled into the driveway. WOW!!! John introduced himself, evaluated the problem and presented several repair options with different price points. We discussed the options. No pressure. Just honest evaluation of the options. I made my decision of the repairs to be performed and John went to work. A few hours later the work was completed. The door worked like new. John was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Upselling and Ripoff Prices I followed the many glowing reviews about Scott and Precision Garage Door Service, so had them out to address a likely broken spring (big bang just like a broken spring, but no pieces visible). The good news: Scott came out within a couple hours of my online booking and the trip charge is a very reasonable $20. Also, Scott is a personable, interactive guy who likes to chat. The bad news: The whole trip was devoted to upselling unneeded and horrendously priced services. For each suggested service, it was all done under the guise of: “Well maybe it is a problem and maybe it isn’t, so it is up to you whatever you want to have done.” That is not what I need or expect from an experienced technician. I want to hear what is essential to do, and what is unnecessary. With all their experience, they should know much better than most homeowners. For example, Scott noted that there was some “dirt” around to torsion bar bearings, actually fine metal filings from wear. All true, all normal after 35 years years in service. But there was no sign of binding or free play in the bearings, so no reason to expect trouble. He quoted a price of $176 per bearing plate, noting that garage door parts were horrendously expensive. Bearing plates cost about $10 each at Home Depot or Amazon. The replacement time for two was to be about 1 hour according to Scott. That makes the labor rate for the work of about $300 per hour, more than many doctors and lawyers make. Scott thought that the spring should/could be changed, even though it was not broken and it was installed within the last two years. The cost for that? $392. The time for that work was 1/2 hour to 1 hour. The cost of garage door springs at Home Depot of Amazon? $40-$50. Again, a $300-$600 effective labor rate. My advice: steer away from Precision and find a company that knows what you need and charges what they should.
