I found Precsion on the internet and liked what Iread about their service from customers. That and they advertise no up charge for a weekend service call. Their technician was here about an hour after I called late Sunday afternoon and completed the repair promptly. I will recommend Precision to neighbors who need their garage door serviced.

We were very pleased with our experience with Precision door. We had a double torsion spring failure which caused the heavy door to be impossible to lift. It was Friday night at 6 p.m. and both of our cars were now trapped in the garage. We found Precision on the internet and within 1 hour John showed up. He assessed the situation, replaced the springs, ensured that the door was in good condition and balanced. Less than one hour later, the job was completed. We highly recommend Precision!

My garage door was not opening properly. The Troubleshooting guide for my automatic opener led me to believe the springs needed tightened. I found Precision via a Google search. Turned out to be a great find! John, the service tech, arrived early! He listened to my explanation of the problem. He quickly assess this to be a spring problem. He tightened the springs. He tested the door. He offered insights to what might be future problems with my 13 year old door. Quick. Accurate. Clean. No problems whatsoever.

Tom was great. In a matter of moments he new the issue and how to fix it. He also had the necessary items to complete the job in about and hour. The additional service of lubing and adjusting the door was above and beyond what I thought would be completed. I never heard him open my garage door when he was done. Three hours after the spring broke, it's fixed. I called right away, you send John right away, and it's as good as new. He found some other issues with the door and recommended a few pieces be replaced, but he explained why. He also told me about a few other things, but he was honest and said he didn't think those items needed replaced. Cost was a little pricier than I expected, but for such speedy and great service, I don't mind paying a little extra.

Tom called approximately 30 minutes prior to his arrival, was courteous upon his arrival, quickly assessing the situation. He provided multiple options for the repair and quickly started the repair upon my confirmation of the work he was to perform. He finished the job within a reasonable time and explained the work he completed. I appreciate his attention to detail. This is my second experience with Precision Door (Columbus, Ohio). I was pleased with the service both times, courteous, efficient, willing to explain how things worked, not pushy about making a sale - Tim gave me only the information I asked for about replacing the garage door rather than bombarding me with extra sales pitch. This second time was an emergency call where I needed to get my cars out of the garage and the response time was excellent - called last night, here in the morning. I'll be coming back when I am ready to upgrade this door.
