I called this morning around 8:30 and Gregg was here about an hour later. He was professional and explained the pricing up front and took the time to explain the work performed when he was finished. He also provided recommendations on other areas to keep an eye on. We just needed a cable re-attached, so this was not a major installation or repair. However he did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend Precision Door.

Our garage door has never worked this well. Found out that some of the previously replaced parts were not the right ones which caused more problems. The technician was very polite and knew what he was doing! He explained and showed me everything that he was going to do and why it was necessary. It was a rather costly repair but was well worth it. I feel safe with the door working as it does now.

Thank you for your prompt, same day/night service. The garage door was stuck open at least 2 feet (not very safe for overnight). Tom was friendly, courteous and professional. I felt comfortable and safe having him doing the work in my home. I think the email confirmation, pictures of the techs is an excellent idea. He called prior to arrival to let me know when he would be arriving. Answered all my questions, explained everything well. The work was completed in a timely manner. Superior, quality work! i checked the yellow pages in the phone book, i also checked bbb and found nothing to cause me concern. the fact you are a franchisee was a good thing because if there was a big problem, i could contact the corporate office. since my opener was not working, same day service was a plus. the e mail that was sent with tech name and picture was appreciated. the tech made sure to explain everything fully.

Six years ago I moved into a new home development and it appears like the contractor, MI homes, had a contract to install Wayne Dalton garages. Unfortunately, when the parts malfunction, service can only be provided by the contractor who installed the Wayne Dalton products. I called the company who installed my garage and received a voice message requesting me to leave information and someone would return my call. Since I needed service and strongly disagree with the monopoly game between MI and the contractor who installed Wayne Dalton products, I searched the internet and read the reviews of Precision and decided to call. I agree that the service is prompt and professional but I definitely paid for it. To replace a broken spring cost me $569.95 and this was with discounts. The technician informed me that the parts I had were cheap and Precision parts were of better quality. Unfortunately I found out that I could have received the same parts a lot cheaper. I think you are doing an excellent job in selling your service but your prices are high. Also after reading the comments on the web, someone mentioned that they had a life warranty on their springs that they purchased in 2005. I received a 5 years warranty. I think the cost would be justified if I had received a life warranty. Thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion.

Well thanks to the owner, Beth, my problem has been resolved. I truly appreciate her concern regarding the issue with my garage door. After it was installed (none of us noticed it right away), we saw there were some defects in each panel of the garage door (sort of like welts in the metal). I was also not completely happy with the color, as it turned out a bit too dark to match the top trim. But Beth heard me out, and resolved this problem. She even got me another color, which I truly appreciate. I really appreciate Beth's kindness in resolving this issue. Some companies might have just "blown me off" and ignored my concerns. I am very happy with the results of the new door. I even decided to upgrade a notch for a bit more insulation, and wow, this door looks awesome! Very solid. Thank you Beth, and Gary for putting the door in. Gary is very good at his job too. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Genna, in your office was very considerate and compassionate as well. The only issue I had was that your supplier refused to void out the door I ordered because he said it is a less ordered door and he did not know if he could sell it again. My door completely broke, forcing me to leave my car outside until the door came. So I asked for another door you had in stock. You could have come out with another door the next day, but because the supplier was not willing to cancel his door, and allow me get one you had in stock, I was forced to leave my car out overnight for more than a week on a busy, very dangerous and fairly high crime street. That upset me that your supplier thought it was more important to turn a profit for himsef, then to be concerned for my safety, and the safety of my vehicle. There is an exression: "The number one cause of poverty is greed." Don't you think that was selfish of your supplier? Anyway, other than that I am very happy with your company and the door. On Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 I called the Precision Door Service Office to report a malfunction with my garage door not closing properly. Mr. Gary Morkassel was sent to service the problem with my garage door. He adjusted the springs, tightened all hardware, aligned safety eyes, tightened brackets, rewired safety eyes, adjusted opener travel and lubricated the tracks. I paid the price for the service, which totaled $155.00. On Monday, Oct. 6,2014 I returned from a trip to Pittsburgh, Pa. and I discovered that my garage door was wide open. I closed the door and on Tuesday morning Oct. 7, 2014 I found that my door was wide open again. I call the Precision Office again to advise of the problem I was having again. Mr. Morkassel showed at the garage at 9:30am to checked the problems with the door. He decided to erase all opener codes and reprogram two transmitters, which are used to open and close the doors. I was charged a price for this service of $55.00, which covered the 10 minutes that involved this particular secondary repair. Mr. Morkassel did a good job of repairing the garage door, but it would have been better if the repairs could have been completed on the first repair call, which may have saved me additional costs.

William, We appreciate you taking the time to write in, and ultimately, we're glad we were able to get everything back to proper working order. With regard to your door being open when you were out of town, this typically indicates that a neighboring transmitter may be intercepting the frequency on your opener. A first step solution would be wiping and reprogramming all codes. Based on Gary's feedback, it sounds like this took care of that particular issue. Since there wasn't an indication of a signal issue at the time of our initial repair, wiping and reprogramming all codes wasn't a necessary step to take. Instead, our initial visit corrected the known problem at the time, which was balancing the door and ensuring a safe and easy opening/close function. We do apologize if there was any confusion regarding these two separate issues. Again, we are glad that everything was ultimately taken care of and we appreciate you giving us the chance to make it right. As an extra step for Precision, we will be sure to communicate thoroughly in instances such as these.
