I got totally above and beyond great service from the tech who came to my house. We had settled the bill and he was getting in his truck to leave and looked back at the garage door as it went down and noticed that there was a little bit of different height from one side to the other instead of just driving away he stopped he pulled his tools back out and he corrected this very minor defect. But major to me to show how much this company is dedicated to doing it right the first time

I called this afternoon to get a price to replace the seal and then to do a tuneup. Their quote was very good compared to other companies I had called. I asked them to schedule an appointment and they actually said they could be there this afternoon in about an hour hour and a half.. Joshua, my technician called about 15 minutes before he got here. He was right on time.. I explained to him what I want done. He finalized the quote for me.. the garage door sounds better after the tuneup. He replaced with very a nice tight seal. Joshua was very nice and polite and I would recommend him in precision for any work.

A year ago, I hired Precision Garage Door of Columbus to install a new garage door and opener. From the start, their team was professional, friendly, and efficient. One of our garage door springs broke over a weekend. Our cars were outside, so we used the online service to make an appointment for the following Monday. Easy to schedule at a convenient time. Joshua called us to let us know he was on his way and he showed up on-time. He was very professional and friendly. We discussed the door issue and he evaluated the entire door operation. We needed to replace both springs. We were advised ( not required ) to replace the 3 bearings on the door too. So we agreed to all repairs suggested, since we hadn't had that service in over 15 years. Joshua finished his work in a little over an hour. He showed us exactly how to grease the garage door springs and rollers to keep the door in good working order. The door works great now and we were very pleased with the interactions with Joshua and his work.

I needed work on two garage doors, after another central Ohio company went out of business leaving me with no alternatives for warranty work. Joshua was very professional and explained everything to me clearly. He was very detailed and understanding in regards to my financial concerns. I had new Garage door opener installed by Technician Josh on 10/25/24 at my house. Although the initial estimate was really high, Josh worked with me to bring down the price very much almost to one third of the initial estimate with the promotions. He installed the garage door opener very fast and cleaned the work area and answered all my questions and was on time for the appointment. Very professional. Top technician.

The representative had my garage door issue resolved in about 20 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. There are two reasons Precision gets a three-star review. Firstly there is a $20 Fleet Transportation fee added to the bill. I inquired about this and was told it’s for gas and the wear-and-tear on the truck involved in driving to appointments. I stated that I wasn’t going to pay this fee. It is a business expense. Joshua was able to give me a discount of the same amount. Lastly the charge is a lump sum total. I asked how much of the total charge was the item and how much was labor. The representative stated that he didn’t know. It’s all together. Since the needed the work completed and it was already finished (the representative could have undone the work and just charged me the initial fee) I paid the total without the breakdown but I felt like the company wasn’t being honest.

We had Precision Garage Door rebuild our garage door in 2022 and they did a fantastic job including clean up. In 2023 we had an issue with the garage door opener and they were quick to respond and also adjust the springs that assist in lifting the door. March 2nd 2025 one of the springs broke Precision was there within hours and replaced the springs at no cost to us at all standing behind their 5 year parts and labor warranty.
