My name is Tom Palmer. I've lived in Grove City all of my life. I have a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. I have previously worked in the residential construction business. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach and working on anything from dirtbikes and motorcycles, to race cars and trucks.

This is our 2nd/3rd house with a Precision Garage door. They did the sale/install/service on our two new garage doors in 2021/2022. Due to our builder not seeming to understand that 'flatwork' concrete under garage door is to be......flat :)..... it had a 1" bow/peak in middle. Precision adjusted the then new GD a few times and then installed an extra thick/large gasket at bottom to make it weather tight. Now, a year later, I finally had the concrete cut out and re poured to actually be flat but then needed the garage door to come down more/seal. Guy came out today was awesome, personable and adjusted it quickly but then also took the time to chat me through a few other things to keep my eye on. We were lucky to find Precision.

Tom just left my house and was the nicest guy. Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for better service or company on a quiet day. He made our door work amazingly and was educating me on things to think about as the door ages. Answered questions and was just all around super helpful and knew exactly what to do. I’ll for sure use you all again.

Tom A. Palmer was my Technician, I needed a new garage door opener, he explain the differences in the opener models and answered my numerous questions. I new my garage door had a broken hinge that needed replaced, he pointed out two other hinges that had stress cracks in them, so I had those replaced also. He inspected the garage door and installed the new opener, and programed the two remotes & outside keyless pad. Very happy with the work that Tom did, and would recommend Tom & Precision for your garage door/opener needs.

This was our first time using Precision and it definitely won't be the last. Our technician was on time, friendly and explained everything about the new opener. He even gave us some pointers on 'oiling' the hinges when the door starts to squeak.

I was not happy with the garage door opener they installed. I told sales guy that we wanted one that would tell us when the door was opened or closed and Wifi. They did a great job installing the new door but the insulation of the opener and how it works not good at all

Amazed he could get here in this weather. He got all repairs to the door done,but the belt on the motor is not available, so the job will be finished Monday. Some suppliers were closed, so that explains the lack of availability. I would recommend this company highly.

Very pleased with the repair on my door. Tom was able to arrive on time and explained my options to fix my door and it works as good as a new door. He did.the job and was very friendly in explaining what maintenance i need to do. Price was a little higher than i expected but senior discount did help some and as my Mom always said you get what you pay for. I would recommend Precision to my friends and family

I am not sure that I am completely content with the warranty service that I received yesterday. My garage door opened yesterday. However, your technician installed right side cable in my driveway rubbing against a portion of the metal frame. It may have an adverse effect on the cable durability. So, I am sorry, but I cannot give you a better rating.

Matt came to my home and corrected my concern. I feared that the right side cable was rubbing against a metal piece, which would cause the cable to break. But, Manager Matt moved the metal piece a bit to the right. The potential problem was avoided. I am very satisfied with the result. And I am granting you an "excellent" grade for your overall work. After hitting the garage door frame with my rearview mirror last week (oops!), our opener stopped working this morning. I called Precision Door Service after several other companies that said they couldn't get someone out to take a look today. Tom Palmer showed up earlier than expected, was knowledgeable and friendly, and got my door working better than before in under an hour! Thank you so much. We are customer for life!
