Very satisfied with our experience with your company. From the easy to use appointment tool on the website, to the tech Gary checking in the next morning and finally to our repair, everything went very smooth. Gary was very thorough and explained the options for the repair, which I appreciated. He was up front about what was needed to fix our problem, but was not pushy in any way. He gave us a time frame of how long it would take and he was right on that, too.

We were having issues with the open and close of our door. Your technician, Gary, arrived precisely on time and immediately began working. We were pleased that he couldn't find anything wrong except maybe some grass blocking the lenses and did not charge us for his inconvenience in coming out with nothing to repair. Our 7-18-2024 garage door opener replacement and door maintenance by Gary from Precision was one of our best home improvement experiences. With the heightened increase of storms in our area and possible electric outages, we wanted to be sure we could always leave/enter our garage. Gary clearly explained the battery back-up openers available from Precision, including all of the costs involved with each. There was no pressure at all in this selection process, just good information. While installing the new opener, Gary identified non-opener situations with our garage door that caused some operational problems we had described to him, and we authorized fixing those issues as part of this job. The result of installing a new opener and fixing those door issues has been a revelation: the door now opens and closes very smoothly with little noise, no more jerking and clattering, and the battery back-up works perfectly. We would definitely recommend Precision (and Gary) to anyone needing garage door work.

Gary was beyond incredible. He was extremely personable and explained everything so well. It was clear from the moment he started looking that he was an expert, and he was basically able to tell us our garage door history just from looking at the parts. Tech showed up when he was supposed to and was patient as I was on a business call, he waited for about 10-15 minutes until I finished the call and explained to me the problem and options, even options going with the garage door manufacturer. Ultimately I did have Precision Door do the work as I was not prepared to pay the cost of the estimate. Very professional and informative tech.

The spring on our door broke on a Monday evening and they were able to send someone first thing Tuesday morning. He arrived on time, was very friendly and got the job done quickly. He also noted a couple things to watch for in the next year but didn’t put any pressure on me to pay extra and fix them now, and I appreciated the honesty. Frankly, there are other companies who could do the repair for less, but I knew I’d be getting it done quickly and correctly by a company who stands behind their work, and that makes paying a little more worth it to me.

Very impressed with this company. Had a Wayne Dalton Torquemaster system converted to a double torque spring on an 18 ft door. Gary was the technician that completed the work. He was timely, extremely knowledgeable, and very polite. The company stands behind their work. Had a small issue that I thought needed checked. They send a technician, Johnny, out the same day to address the issue: Again - knowledgeable, polite individual. As a person who takes care of most home maintenance issue himself, it was a difficult for me to call in someone to handle this job. But, like me, If you’re picky about having the job done right, then this is the company to call. They’re worth the cost.
