My name is Tom Palmer. I've lived in Grove City all of my life. I have a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. I have previously worked in the residential construction business. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach and working on anything from dirtbikes and motorcycles, to race cars and trucks.

I recognized the problem because our previous service tech indicated that we may have a weak spring. One of the springs broke and we're thankful that Precision could schedule a repair the next day. Tom did a great job and we were back in operation quickly.

Had a cable break on our garage door late afternoon trapping my car inside. Called Precision and they had a technician out the next morning at 8:00am. He called to confirm at 7:40am that he was on his way.(that was nice). I originally thought I could replace the cable myself, so glad I called a Precision. The tech had to do so much more than I ever imagined to safely replace the cable. He did it all quickly and professionally and he was very cordial and polite. No regrets. Well worth it.

I would give you a 5 star rating. The serviceman was prompt (same day WOW), friendly and did a good job. I can tell that the part he replaced is doing a great job because the door opener is much quieter and doesn't sound like it is straining. I have to admit the price was total sticker shock, but when I called about it, the person answering the phone gave a good explanation and waived the service charge. I would definitely recommend you to others.

We are so pleased we chose Precision Door Service ! Tom was the nicest guy that fixed our problem. He was very polite and informed us about the problem and what needed to be fixed to make the door work ! It is so good now and goes up and down very quietly. The problem was the door would not go up and down . We looked in the yellow pages and saw your add. The service 24/7 and weekend appointments caught our eye. We needed it fix as soon as possible so we could get out of the garage to meet our daughter and family for a Father's Day Brunch ! Again, Tom was a very good worker and you should be glad he is an employee for you as he gives the customer good service ! We would call Precision again if needed and recommend Precision to anyone. I had an old style spring one on each side of the door. Tom recommendation convinced me to go with the overhead type of springs. We discussed new doors, I opted just to have the new type of springs. Tom, the Precision Door Service technician who responded to our call for service, just left. Tom arrived in a timely manner (Actually a little sooner than Precision had promised), repaired our garage door opener, lubed all the moving parts, and was extremely cordial during the entire process. We are very satisfied, and happy we chose Precision Door Service. If your garage door needs service, you can't go wrong with Precision. They are professionals, and their rates are very reasonable.

I would have to say that this is the most professional company I have dealt with...ever. Their attention to detail is obvious. After calling to make an appointment, I received a confirmation email with the ability to see who would be coming to my home for the service call. The tech was friendly and professional. He did a thorough job of assessing the problem and answered all my questions. He gave me options for the repair without pressure to buy.
