My name is Tom Palmer. I've lived in Grove City all of my life. I have a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. I have previously worked in the residential construction business. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach and working on anything from dirtbikes and motorcycles, to race cars and trucks.

My garage door came off the tracks with our cars in the garage. Broken tracks, brackets, and rollers. A picture would show that it was as bad as anyone could imagine. I called at 9pm, the operator said someone would be there by 8am. Instant relief, but I was skeptical about the ease of scheduling. The guy drove through a snow storm, that hit at early more rush hour, @50 miles and arrived on time. What happened next may seem like a mythical tale. He brought with him experience and knowledge, all the right tools, all the parts, and a great attitude. I wish the price was lower, but the garage door has never worked this good. He was able to prolong me from getting a new door until I can come up with the money. He was more than great. Fixed on time, one time, the first time. Thank you for sending me an email to post. Otherwise, I would have been to lazy to tell you to keep this great worker.

Precision repaired springs on our garage door in 2008. Unfortunately one of the springs failed and broke this week in 2016. I called Precision and they honored the lifetime warranty for the springs, immediately responded, and had our garage door working again within hours of the break. I'm totally satisfied with the quality of the work and the overall experience. Precision will absolutely get a call when I need service in the future.

I was very impressed with every aspect of Precision Garage Door of Columbus Ohio. Their website gave me confidence I needed (A+ BBB rating). I called and they were very responsive on a Saturday afternoon, and they didn't gouge me with emergency service call fees. I really appreciated the email confirmation that included pictures of the staff for added security. (Great feature!) Tom arrived within the next hour after my call, and was very direct and honest. I felt very confident that we were in good hands. Tom was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and did a great job repairing our garage door. I also appreciated the convenient payment methods, and very clear and understandable electronic invoice that was sent to me immediately upon completion of the work and payment. (No yellow copy with illegible handwriting that you tend to get for misc. home repairs these days.) Precision really knows how to run a successful business. Should the need arise, I will definitely call Precision again in the future!

I recognized the problem because our previous service tech indicated that we may have a weak spring. One of the springs broke and we're thankful that Precision could schedule a repair the next day. Tom did a great job and we were back in operation quickly.

Had a cable break on our garage door late afternoon trapping my car inside. Called Precision and they had a technician out the next morning at 8:00am. He called to confirm at 7:40am that he was on his way.(that was nice). I originally thought I could replace the cable myself, so glad I called a Precision. The tech had to do so much more than I ever imagined to safely replace the cable. He did it all quickly and professionally and he was very cordial and polite. No regrets. Well worth it.

I would give you a 5 star rating. The serviceman was prompt (same day WOW), friendly and did a good job. I can tell that the part he replaced is doing a great job because the door opener is much quieter and doesn't sound like it is straining. I have to admit the price was total sticker shock, but when I called about it, the person answering the phone gave a good explanation and waived the service charge. I would definitely recommend you to others.

We are so pleased we chose Precision Door Service ! Tom was the nicest guy that fixed our problem. He was very polite and informed us about the problem and what needed to be fixed to make the door work ! It is so good now and goes up and down very quietly. The problem was the door would not go up and down . We looked in the yellow pages and saw your add. The service 24/7 and weekend appointments caught our eye. We needed it fix as soon as possible so we could get out of the garage to meet our daughter and family for a Father's Day Brunch ! Again, Tom was a very good worker and you should be glad he is an employee for you as he gives the customer good service ! We would call Precision again if needed and recommend Precision to anyone. This morning I simply opened the phone book and called one number, no answer, then I called you. I would have no problem in recommending your company. I had an old style spring one on each side of the door. Tom recommendation convinced me to go with the overhead type of springs. We discussed new doors, I opted just to have the new type of springs.
