Called Precision door yesterday to schedule an appointment. That evening Tech Dustin showed up to look at my garage door opener. I thought the visit was for an evaluation. Dustin informed me that he could have me up and running in 45 minutes! He made some repairs and adjustments to my door. Tech was very friendly and knowledgable. I was dealing with a pro. He stayed until I was comfortable with using the remotes. The added bonus he lubricated the garage door hinges and railings. The door opens and closes very smoothly. REVIEW UPDATE: I initially wrote a five star rating shortly after your technician replaced the cables, one hinge, and rewound the spring. The door was still running roughly. He stated he could do no more, and he recommended a new garage door. Later that day I watched your video on your website (Precision) to see if there was anything I could do to help the door until I could replace it. I followed your video's instructions (cleaning the track, tightening all the bolts, lubricating the spring with lithium grease, etc). This is when I discovered that the technician had stripped out 3 of the 4 bolts attaching the new hinge he had installed. He had not done any of the recommended items in your video, or even mentioned that they should be done. After I performed the items set forth in your video, and replaced the stripped out bolts on the hinge, the door is running much better and much smoother. I will be looking elsewhere for my garage door repairs in the future.

David I would like to apologize about the recent experience you had with our company. Garage door repairs are never fun and always come at the wrong time. Customer satisfaction is very important to our company. I have tried to reach out by phone and left a voicemail to see if there was anything we could do. All of our technicians are trained to lubricate not only just the springs but all of the moving components of every door we work on. Also, the safety inspections states that the top panel is bending and sagging in the middle. This is why the technician recommended a new door because the structural integrity of the door has been compromised. Again, I apologize that the experience you had with us was less than optimal but wish you best in the future.

I ordered a new garage door with window panels, when the door was installed I realized that the window panel was omitted. So, it had to be ordered and 2 more weeks wait time. The door is also not level and has to be adjusted, which I noticed after the installer had left. I also had a new opener installed, which works fine.

Garage door stopped half open. Panel bracket and roller let go. Did not want to leave door open for the weekend. Precision came out in two hours and did not charge an extra $75 like others quoted but did give us the senior citizen discount. I will recommend them and will call them again if I ever need service. Everything about Precision's service was excellent - from contact to delivery of the actual work. After review of the situation it was determined that there did not appear to be a problem. I did ask if the rubber seal bar across the bottom of the garage door could be replaced while the technician was here. They were carried on the truck so he was able to do it. I will contact Precision in the future as needed.

My opener had been on the blink for months and I decided to get it repaired. Precision had tons of good reviews so I chose them. Dustin called and said he could be earlier than scheduled, great! He sadly could not resurrect my old opener but replaced it on the spot with a newer much quieter one. He did a great job and explained the new one.
