I had the pleasure of meeting with Tom Palmer today. He met me at the home I am building and buying at the end of this month. He helped me to understand the parts of the garage door and asked me what I needed. He was very knowledgeable and gave me options on what was available for me to choose from. He gave estimates on 3 types of motors and lifts. I will diffidently give him a call in the next 3 weeks.

My technician Tom was excellent. He was timely, knew his job, was easy to talk to, and met our needs. I decided to purchase a new opener, as my old Liftmaster was over 30 yrs old and operating poorly. Tom gave me three options based on my request, explained the points of each product, then installed the new unit I selected. In addition, he didn’t leave any mess. In fact after he left I didn’t have to do anything except apply a bit of paint around the control unit and opener unit as the new unit is more compact. Looks great and works perfectly.

I am giving them 5 stars for the work that was performed. The repair and maintenance on my garage door was top notch. I used them a few years ago at my other home and felt that they did a good job repairing my garage door. On another note when I called for service i choose to do the 8-12 window because I had other things in the afternoon I had to do. I understood that they could possibly be working on my door as late as 1:00. The service tech did not call me that he would be at my house in 30 minutes until around 12. The repairs that needed done would take about an hour. I think we finished up everything around 1:50. So if you schedule a repair expect most of the day waiting around for your tech and then some to finish the job. Needless to say I was not able to meet my afternoon commitments. However, the repair on my garage door was exceptional. Tom was courteous and was outstanding with his skills.

I was able to get an appointment the same day to replace a badly worn garage door spring. The technician who came out was very kind and very knowledgeable. He examined the situation, made recommendations and was able to repair my door at that visit. The garage door runs much quieter and smoother now. I called for help when my car was trapped one day this week when we lost power. I was unable to lift the dead weight of the door and missed a doctor's appointment. It's a relief that I can easily lift the door myself again!

My issue today was a keypad key that was sticking. The technician said all that could be done was to replace the keypad. I had the door openers installed in June 2023 by Precision. He suggested I check the warranty. I keep all the paperwork, brought it all to the technician, he noticed there is a 5 year parts & labor warranty, so he took a picture of the invoice showing the warranty line and replaced the key pad. All is good now thanks to the technician's suggestion.

When I experienced issues with my garage door motor, I contacted the vendor that originally installed it. They never got back to me. I remembered Precision from vans in my neighborhood as well as a (long) past visit, Their website made it easy to schedule an appointment, and the confirmation I received was clear and accurate. The tech did a great job of explaining why I needed a new motor. The work was completed promptly and well. When I could not get my car opener to sync with my new motor, I called Precision (as my first tech told me I could), and by the end of the day all was well. The second tech was timely, professional, and PATIENT. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.
