Super sweet tech, not his fault but it costs me $270 for him to take less than 5 min to bend the sensors back into place. Never felt so cheated in my life. Got quotes for new opener and install and markup on openers is unbelievable. Quotes were between $1,100 - $1,300. Place is crazy over priced, which I don’t believe friendly customer service makes up for. After research, the average cost for unit and labor to replace a garage door opener is $250 -$750. I only need residential grade, but even with a commercial grade opener, $1,100 is steep and outside the realm of reality. I had used this company a few years ago and did not have this issue.

Lynne Barone. Precision installed a new garage door opener and miscellaneous parts for the door in November. This past weekend the garage door was not closing --it would stop part way and then go back up. I called precision this morning at 8:00. The person on the phone was very pleasant and scheduled someone for today. The problem is now fixed. the technician was very friendly, thoroughly explained the problem and corrected it. No charge because of the warranty. This company lives up to their advertising and has earned its reputation.

Professional and fair. Joe came out and showed me the options I had available and prices for everything. I selected what I wanted/needed and there was NO pressure to go with something else. I appreciated that very much. He completed the job in 2 hours (maybe less), showed me how to operate everything, and made sure I was comfortable with it. I would highly recommend Joe and Precision Garage door.

I was impressed that I was immediately contacted after my request for information and especially that the person who came out to assess my problems did the repairs on the spot. He showed me my problems before starting and during his work. My door is old and hadn’t worked for years and he installed a new system and showed me the weak spots in my old door to keep an eye on. I liked that he didn’t try to sell me a new door and parts that were still functional.

In a word...Yes! This is how you run a successful business. Joe was fantastic all around, starting with a call ahead to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived he took some time to ask me what I was looking for, really listened, assessed the garage environment, explained the process, drafted three options, and was done installing a new garage door opener within an hour. Hey carpet, window, and roofing companies...pay attention over here. No pressure sales. No haggling over a price. No calling a manager back at the office to see if the price can be specially lowered "just this one time." No hour long sales pitch trying to convince me Precision's products are better than the competition's. This is how you do it. This is how quality customer service is prioritized over increased profit margins. You could learn a couple dozen things from this company.

The broken spring problem was fixed. The price is ridiculous to replace 2 torsion springs. $737 was the total cost.

My technician was very professional. We discussed several options and talked several minutes about each one and what was best for me . After the work performed he explained everything he done and we tested the door several times. My door is over 30 years old and hasn't been this easy to open and close in some time.Thank you Precision Door .

Joe from Precision did the work here on Monday evening, in replacing our whole garage door opener control unit. He made system upgrades where needed, but only after conferring with me in each case. The finished product is outstanding! Joe was exceptionally curteous, and professional in his work at all times. Precision Garage Door of Columbus clearly understands the significance in the phrase. "You win with people." That is, and always has been, the only way to run a successful business. You understand that, and have reflected the same in your company advertising and promotion. Congratulations!
