We have used these wonderful people three times over the years. Every time they have been wonderful. Friday I got home at 3:30. Garage door would not open. Went through the house to the garage. Chain was off the track. There is a Precision sticker on our garage wall. Called them and told them what was going on. Joe was at our home before 4:30. Check everything out. Show and told us what was going on with it. Opener needed replace. Gave us all the options they offered. New opener was up and running before 7:30. He even help me program our car and truck. Another wonderful experience with this company.

Pricing is exploitative. Representative played dumb that he didn't know he was selling me a $400 garage door opener for $1400. Also tried to sell me extra opener remotes for 10x the off the shelf price. He told me it was a 3 hour install job and he was done in 45 minutes. This business is a classic example of the Enshittification of everything these days. I'm guessing Precision Garage Door has sold out to some private equity group, and they are now squeezing every penny possible of the customer base. Praying for the comeback of local businesses that don't need an iPad to provide you basic services.

Joe showed up well within the time frame we had been given. He was very thorough when assessing the problem. He gave us several choices as to what we could have him install to fix the problem. Once we decided what we wanted him to do, he had parts on his truck and was able to get the garage door opening and closing within an hour.

Chose the Westerville location because it was close and the Google reviews looked promising. Booking was easy, and the response was prompt. Joe called before coming and showed up at the start of the appointment windows, taking care of the few issues with our opener in no time flat! Spring busted on our garage and the technician came right out and offered us a quote, which we accepted not expecting to be taken advantage of. They completed the job fast and the tech seemed very good. However, I uploaded the receipt into ChatGPT and was told “you paid at least double the going rate for Columbus” among other negative feedback about our bill. I researched around and other companies quoted 2-3x less than what this company said. Did not anticipate predatory, used-car sales tactics from a supposed reputable company. Will never be using this company again

Precision Door was very responsive with a technician arriving a couple hours after my phone call. To be honest I probably would've taken the free quote and shopped it around BUT the technician Joe M. was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable and he won my confidence in him and his company. Joe replaced the Liftmaster (with belt/track) and set-up the new remote to operate the other two openers in the same garage. Precision Garage Door of Columbus just secured my future business not just for opener service but also my annual maintenance of tracks, lubricants and rollers. Thanks again Joe!

Super sweet tech, not his fault but it costs me $270 for him to take less than 5 min to bend the sensors back into place. Never felt so cheated in my life. Got quotes for new opener and install and markup on openers is unbelievable. Quotes were between $1,100 - $1,300. Place is crazy over priced, which I don’t believe friendly customer service makes up for. After research, the average cost for unit and labor to replace a garage door opener is $250 -$750. I only need residential grade, but even with a commercial grade opener, $1,100 is steep and outside the realm of reality. I had used this company a few years ago and did not have this issue.

Lynne Barone. Precision installed a new garage door opener and miscellaneous parts for the door in November. This past weekend the garage door was not closing --it would stop part way and then go back up. I called precision this morning at 8:00. The person on the phone was very pleasant and scheduled someone for today. The problem is now fixed. the technician was very friendly, thoroughly explained the problem and corrected it. No charge because of the warranty. This company lives up to their advertising and has earned its reputation.
