While going through a list of 4 names I received after consulting Angie's List, someone from Precision called me on the phone. They said they could handle the repair I needed. And the tech, Alex, was right on time the very next morning. After examining the problem, he had to leave to get the needed part, but returned when he said he would and had the work done within the expected time. He was efficient and seemed to know what he was doing. He tweaked the door a bit to get it operating more smoothly. He cleaned up the area when he was done. It was a great experience and I would not hesitate to call them again and recommend them to anyone with garage door "issues." I'm getting a new home ready to move into and this was by far the easiest "repair" job I've had done so far. 5 stars! for sure.

The service was completed well over my expectations: 1) Completed on the same day I called in; 2) The serviceman (Alex) was very professional, courteous, and friendly; 3) Alex explained everything thoroughly, including what must be done as well as what may be needed in the near future; and 4) I have asked for all the mechanisms (including springs and opener systems) except for a new door, and it was completed within a couple of hours. My highest recommendation to anyone thinking of repair and/or installation of a garage door!!

A bunch of details below, but the short of it is, would highly recommend. It was the day after Thanksgiving when our garage door stopped working, and we still had family in town. We purchased the door and opener from Sears. Which means no one would come to make a service call since they're basically out of business. I called two other companies before precision, neither of which even answered the phone or returned the messages I left. Then I called precision. I talked to Teresa, who was very helpful and super accommodating. She told me they could have someone out later in the afternoon, which was fantastic. Greg made the service visit, and even called to let us know he would be earlier than expected. I could go on and on about the great job Greg did. He walked me through exactly what the issue was, broke down all of the options and costs, and helped me decide the best and most cost effective way to move forward. All said and done, it was just a couple hours and we had a brand new opener. It actually turns out we had gotten in touch with precision a few years ago before we had our garage door replaced and Greg had been our tech then as well. That was also a good experience. After the whole thing was done, my husband and I both agreed that we should have gone through precision to buy our garage door and opener in the first place. This was the best overall customer service experience I've had in while. And on the day after Thanksgiving with family still in the house, and my husband traveling most of the day taking more family back home, it was just so appreciated.

My spring broke while the cars were in the garage on a Saturday night. I needed to get them out by Monday morning. I did a google search of repair shops and saw many with good ratings. I decided to call the number posted by my opener for Shamrock garage repair by the previous owner of my house first. The man who answered did not seem like he wanted to come out. He said he had plans that afternoon and wanted me to schedule a Tuesday repair. I then decided to call precision from my google search. The girl that answered the phone was eager to help and told me what the after hours fee was and gave me a time frame. The man who came to fix it was professional and quick. I got the overhaul package I think it was called with 2 springs rollers and cables. He applied a couple discounts to the price so the after hours fee was greatly reduced and he replaced a bracket on my door that he didn't charge me for. I was pleased with this company's responsiveness and professionalism.

My experience with Precision Door Service has been exceptional. I called them because my "recommended" service company could not come out to fix my garage door for 5 days. Precision took my call immediately, was very polite, and had my service scheduled within hours. Tim arrived early and diagnosed my problem immediately. His truck was stocked and he got to work right away. The repair was quick, thorough, and the garage was clean when he was finished. Job well done!

When closing my metal garage door, a panel buckled on one side and two panel wheels came off the track. I thought it was ruined. I called Precision Door in an emergency situation and Tom was dispatched within 2 hours. Tom's first opinion was the door should be replaced. His methodical approach to get the door back on track was fantastic. He made adjustments, the buckled section actually righted itself, he inspected all sections for safety and operation and all was accomplished in 1 hour! You folks are fantastic! You are truly a five-star company.
