We had our new garage door system installed 3 years ago. Just recently, we had issues with one of the doors opening sometime during the night. We’d wake up to find a door open, which put our cars and possessions in the garage at risk. I called the office for help and we had a repairman visit later in the day! Our issue required one more visit from a repairman to resolve ultimately, but we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Speedy reply and pleasant, skilled repairmen to help us. Plus, their visits were part of our original installation so we incurred no additional costs for their visits. What a pleasant surprise! So happy we found Precision Garage Doors a few years ago. We couldn’t be happier!!

One of our garage door springs broke over a weekend. Our cars were outside, so we used the online service to make an appointment for the following Monday. Easy to schedule at a convenient time. Joshua called us to let us know he was on his way and he showed up on-time. He was very professional and friendly. We discussed the door issue and he evaluated the entire door operation. We needed to replace both springs. We were advised ( not required ) to replace the 3 bearings on the door too. So we agreed to all repairs suggested, since we hadn't had that service in over 15 years. Joshua finished his work in a little over an hour. He showed us exactly how to grease the garage door springs and rollers to keep the door in good working order. The door works great now and we were very pleased with the interactions with Joshua and his work.

The installer was very pleasant to deal with and provided me with good information regarding the installation and garage door maintenance. He seemed to be very skilled with his work. I was not happy with the estimate process, however. I was given a phone estimate of $100-$360 to replace the springs. When the service technician calculated a price it was much, much higher than the $360 maximum. I feel the estimate was purposely deceiving. I don’t believe this is the way for your company to build a good reputation.

This is the second time I have called Precision to deal with my garage door, the first time years ago. I was hoping it could be repaired today and was happy to hear someone would be out between noon and 4. I was elated when Tom called and said he would be at my house in about 20 minutes—not even 30 minutes after my initial call! He repaired it in about 20 minutes and also greased it and was very kind. Hopefully the door will be working a long time, but if and when it breaks again I will definitely be calling Precision!

The spring bar broke on our garage door. Called Precision on Saturday morning thinking we wouldn't have access to the garage for days. After talking to the representative, she said someone would be at my home between 2 and 4 that day! Response to my need of spring replacement was quick - same day as called. Technical- Scott was great. He explained in detail what was wrong and how to fix. He checked not only the springs but also the whole system. He gave me options. He performed the work quickly. Friendly, courteous and professional. Precision Garage Door Service is now on my 'call the guy' list of service and repairmen!

I had a new garage door installed by Precision that popped a spring after about 6 months. The spring actually pulled apart from its mounting bracket. The repair technician, Adam Moore, arrived the same day and discovered that the door springs that had been installed were too small for the door, which caused stress on the spring and caused it to pop apart. He replaced both springs with the proper size and the door opens much easier now. Thank you to Adam Moore for his competency, knowledge and expertise in correcting the problem.
