Useless. Tech tried to sell us a new opener, which he wouldn't have for "at least 2 weeks" and did zero troubleshooting. Maintenance department found a loose sensor wire in panel and got door up and going again.

Thank you for sending Pat Mulligan to perform a preventative maintenance on our garage door. He was timely and knew what he was talking about. The only problem determined was that the door was sticking upon opening. He suggested what cleaning method to be done to get rid of the problem. He then reviewed how to determine when maintenance was needed and gave me his card. As promised on the phone, if no work was needed then the call was free. He then gave me his card, which I will use, if any problem would occur. Thank you Precision Garage Door.

Yes, precision Garage Door of Columbus met my expectations…and then some. The phone representative gave me clear options. Tom Palmer, Technician, called ahead announcing when he would arrive. He was prompt, congenial and gave careful attention to explanation of needed service, as well as options. No rush. (Even the Invoice is helpful as it presents detailed disclosure of parts and prices.) An advertising coupon reminded me to call Precision Garage Door this time, but it was their past good work that gave me confidence to call again.

Also went beyond the call, upon leaving, noticed the door wasn’t flush with the ground and came back in to fix it! Also lubed all the wheels! Efficient, polite and knowledgeable with system. I needed to check why the code panel for the garage opener was not working. The tech who came was very professional and helpful. He informed me that it would need to be changed. The price that he quoted me was at least double of what I would estimate for an upper range of reasonable, after I factor in $50 for the visit (even though the visit is supposed to be free) and $50 for 20 minutes of service. The equipment does not cost more than $20 online. So yes, it is my fault for wanting to get it over with and accepting the price, but it was way overpriced.

Just want to say that the service tech, Trevor, was outstanding in terms of understanding the issue I had and worked hard to resolve the problem. The door issue I had was unique and specific to the door bottom weather seal and how it contacted a very uneven cement garage floor. I'm satisfied with the outcome of Trevor's work. His customer rapport is excellent and you can easily tell he knows what he is doing. He works hard. Nice guy for sure. Everything was fully explained ahead of the work being done.
