It was after lunch and the garage door would not open. I noticed the broken spring. I dug out the receipt from 2005 when we bought the springs and found there was a life time warranty. I figured it would be days before a technician would be available. When I called, they had an appointment that afternoon. The spring was replaced before dinner that night. And it only cost me a minimum service fee. Thank you Precision Door Service for a job well done.

I chose this company because I used their service before when our automatic garage door opener malfunctioned. It was replaced in 2010 and we didn't experience any problems since it was replaced. Recently, our garage door would not open due to a torsion component, and other components needing replaced. The technician replaced all the parts and sounds better than ever. Everyone at Precision was professional, courteous and the technician was punctual. If I ever experience anymore issues with our garage door, we will definitely go with Precision again.

I order the Stratford 2000 with cascade windows. Tim came to my house last summer & gave me an estimate. I ordered from Precision due to the experience I had with Tim last summer, I felt he answered all my questions. But this experience wasn't all pleasant. First of all, when Tim came to my house & my husband gave him a $50 off coupon he grumbled under his breath about it to him. I figured since we were paying a lot for the garage door, this wouldn't be a big deal! Secondly, Tim told my husband he would be here on Sunday, he never showed up. We assumed he would be here on Monday, never showed up. I had to call on Tuesday to see what happened. No one called me BUT emailed me instead!!! This is highly unprofessional since I work & I don't have time to check emails. I check them once a week since I have so many work emails. The lady told me he would call me again they emailed..when I told her this was impersonal she left me a message finally!!

I'm sorry that your experience felt frustrating and I'm glad we were able to take care of the issue. Our technician and office staff spoke with your husband multiple times and informed him that the windows were on back order and we would reach out as soon as we received them. Your husband agreed to go ahead with the door installation and agreed to allow us to come back and install the windows at a later time. The next day after the door installation, in response to your message regarding the windows, we again reached out and confirmed that your order would be completed as soon as we received the windows. Once we obtained the windows our technician came out the same day to install them. We attempted to respond to your multiple communications by phone and were unable to reach you. We tried emailing you as a secondary way of communication. We appreciate your business and hope to work with you again in the future.

Excellent service, knowledgeable technician, no extra charge for a holiday repair and repairs done correctly. You guys are really good. You rate a 5 plus in my book.

Called to schedule a service in the morning and had a technician at my home the same day. I was pretty sure I had a faulty garage door unit but I wanted confirmation from a professional. I was told there was a $55.00 service fee which was fine. The technician confirmed my initial thoughts and then said he had to charge me an additional $50.00 labor. I felt this was a bit excessive since nothing was fixed. He did perform an inspection of springs, pulleys etc..but the garage door was just installed 6 months ago so I knew all that was okay. I felt i had to have him do something for the additional $50.00 which the inspection took 5mins. I was then informed to call Genie and that it was a bad circuit board and that it was under warranty. I was then told it would be another $50.00 for the tech to return to install. I'm in the service business as well and I get the service charge and a $50.00 per hour labor rate but I feel the circuit board should be installed at no extra charge once it arrives, and or the additional $50.00 should not have been charged with the first service. Needless to say I will install the circuit board myself, and will not use precision door in the future. With that said Gregg the tech was very professional and actually showed up early for the appointment! He also called Genie and gave them all the information and confirmed the bad circuit board. Very helpful but I still feel I was overcharged.

In regards to moving forward with installing warrantied hardware from a different company, since Precision wasn't responsible for the installation of your door and opener, all work would be billable. We truly appreciate your business as a Precision customer and feel comfortable refunding the cost of labor. We hope in the future you choose Precision Door for your garage door repairs.

John was our service technician. He arrived early, checked the door and within forty minutes had our door operational. Would definitely recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door service to anyone and will use them again should the need arise.

Tim did a great job replacing a broken spring after hours. He mentioned a service special which would also replace the rollers...which was something I had thought of doing from time to time. Tim worked quickly and with quality...the only noise you hear now is the hum of the opener.

I had a broken internal spring and Tom came out at the end of July and replaced the spring with a new type and performed all types of service to make it run smoothly including reattaching the board to the garage wall which had come loose. A month later the cable seemed to slip. The company had Tom out within an hour of my call to repair and determine the cause. He was great and did a wonderful job and explained everything.
