I called precision doors to look at replacing broken spring. Came out very professional then came the quote for repairs. In my opinion it was a quote that was ridiculously priced. I was told I needed new everything. I was told I needed dual springs instead of single new bearings new cables new rollers. Well I called Apex garage door they came out replaced single spring cables were fine bearings were good they recommended replacing rollers but not an immediate need. Precision wanted 1100.00 for repairs Apex charged me 405.00 huge difference I should have called them from the start. They were way more honest in my opinion.

I bought my house one year ago and it did need to have several things repaired, I have had several companies come to my home to give me estimates on service. I never bought from the first estimate, but I did with this product. I had researched for doors with all companies, I seen the commercials on TV for Precision - one thing that stood out for me was 24/7 service. Precision door representative Alana, had the most knowledge about her product, answering all of my questions by showing me pictures of how the end product would look on my home. I did buy this product from the first person that came to my home, thanks to how Alana presented herself and the product.

Our garage door needed a new opener due to a power surge. The technicians arrived promptly at the agreed time. They checked out the motor and advised us on the best way forward. They gave us a variety of choices, but still informed us that the choices are all up to us. We went over pricing and I promise, there was no pressure. We got a far more quiet opener than we originally had. We spent a little bit more than we had planned, but it was well worth it. They did other servicing to make sure the garage door worked well. I chose Precision, because the previous owners must have used them as there was a sticker on the garage door. I'm very glad I did because the service man who came out was amazing. He told me what he thought was happening and why, offered several options for what would work for me, and then walked me through everything thoroughly when he was done. He even noticed that the handles to raise the door manually were in an awkward place and repositioned them for me before he left (I'd never even thought about it). I don't know whether they are competitive pricewise, I'm not sure I really care, because the service was so good. Would definitely recommend highly. I wish all the service workers I've had come to my house were as efficient, dedicated and helpful as Walker was.
