I purchased a new garage door opener in 2022 and the key pad kept having to be reset with a code all the time. I never called about it. Just reset it myself. Well recently 8/2025 I couldn’t reset it and the garage button it code box didn’t work so I called precision and they came out replaced it for free and got it working great again. Also tightened up some bolts on my door. Tech was really friendly. Would use them every time.

Spring busted on our garage and the technician came right out and offered us a quote, which we accepted not expecting to be taken advantage of. They completed the job fast and the tech seemed very good. However, I uploaded the receipt into ChatGPT and was told “you paid at least double the going rate for Columbus” among other negative feedback about our bill. I researched around and other companies quoted 2-3x less than what this company said. Did not anticipate predatory, used-car sales tactics from a supposed reputable company. Will never be using this company again

What can I say. It was very seamless from booking an appointment online to having the job done. Jacob Jones(our installer) did an awesome job!!! We talked nearly the entire time. He answered any questions I had. Taught me plenty. Even about up keep. Really nice guy! If we ever have an issue again with our garage door(hope not). We'll call Precision. Its worth it. Jacob also didn't try and up sell us. He explained our options in detail and we went from there. If you have a problem with your garage door and cant fix it yourself like us. Just call Precision. Pretty simple....

It was very easy to register on-line for an appointment and the serviceman was able to be at my home the next morning. Daniel was the serviceman and he called to let me know he was 30 minutes out. Upon arrival and his synopsis of the situation, he explained that I needed a new spring and ball bearings because what had been put on five years ago was not the appropriate size for my size garage door. He gave me the estimate and completed the work within one hour. I was very pleased with overall response and the service.

As Promised, my garage door was under a 5 year warranty from the work that was performed. About 5 months after the initial repair, the door started squeaking loudly. Alona Moran was superb in her visit. She took the time to explain (and audibly) show me the difference between an insulated garage and a non-insulated one. She also told me the pros and cons too. She was prepared to give me written quote detailing the materials and charge. Her warm smile and demeanor was relaxing. There was no pressure( i was doing varios estimates from different companies today). Cheyney was very courteous, polite, respectful, and professional. He offered to see if he could repair my garage door opener first. So he opened the motor to inspect it. Unfortunately, when I was lubricating the chain on my old one, a drop of oil/lubricant dropped onto the motor and fried the motherboard and capacitor. It was from 97 and had a good life and it was time to replace it. So Cheyney installed the new one, walked me through how it works thoroughly and asked if I had any questions before he left. He did an EXCELLENT job and I highly recommend Precision Garage Door and will use them again in the future if I need them. Thanks Cheyney!!
