This has nothing to do with the service guy cuz he was nice but he basically said I can't fix the spring on this system so I can convert it to another system for a fortune. Nothing on the website told me that they wouldn't be able to fix my problem yet I am supposed to pay them 55 bucks anyway. Seems like a racket to me.

Hi Chris, I am sorry to hear about you experience with our company. We aim to please every customer, but, we have obviously missed the mark this time. While speaking to you on the phone I told you that I could not speak to any other companies’ parts or pricing. I can only speak on the quality our parts. The industry standard for springs is to use 10,000 life cycle springs. We use 30,000 and 50,000 life cycle springs. Some companies will also use 1 spring on a double door when it is safer and recommended to use 2 springs. I am not saying either of these is the case just telling you what I have seen in the past. You did not want to discuss this on the phone so I will not talk too much about that. Also, as I told you on the phone, I am voiding the check you wrote us and sending it back to you. As a small business that has been in Columbus for almost 20 years we take customer satisfaction very serious. I am happy that you were able to find a company to execute this repair for you and get your garage back up and running.

We received excellent service. We got the overhaul package. There was a very slight opening when we closed the door and Tim came right back and made the adjustments needed for the door to close completely.

David came on a very cold Sunday morning to look at our garage door that had come off the tracks and the lower panel was bent. He quickly told us that the same door was not available and we would need to replace all three garage doors. Earlier my son-in-law had removed the bottom panel and was attempting to straighten it with some success. David helped him straighten it out and reassemble the door. He replaced the rollers and cables. Door looks great. My son-in-law commented that he enjoyed working with David.

Called in same day service within a couple hours they arrived replaced both springs within an hour and we were fixed and taken care of. Tom was our tech and he was very professional and did a good job.

they happened to be across the street when the spring broke on the garage door with my car trapped inside. I called the company and they sent the repairman across the street to me and it was fixed within 1.5 hours. Great service and explanations. Will definitely use them again.

Our technician (Alex E) called on the way as promised and arrived within the time window I was given. I also was not charged an extra fee for service on the weekend which was appreciated. My issue (garage door light only staying on for 30 seconds) ended up being a result of faulty bulbs. I was only charged the service fee and saved an extra $15 with the online coupon.

After 25 years of wear and countless self-repairs, we needed a new garage door and hardware. I found Precision on the Internet and called for an estimate. Dustin arrived within two hours and we went over the existing (custom) installation and reviewed the options for replacement. He gave us pricing on several options and we considered several other quotes over the next few weeks. We made our choice- Precision Door. The costs were very reasonable and we ordered the new door and scheduled installation for a few days after the new door arrived at their shop. Dustin contacted us to schedule the install at our convivence. He arrived on schedule with everything he needed for the job, and did the removal of all of the old equipment, prep of the area, and installation of the new tracks, springs, door panels, cables, and all associated hardware (we reused the existing door opener). The whole project took about six hours. The new door is a great addition to our house - it matches the existing garage door perfectly, operates smoothly and quietly, is well insulated and seals up tightly to the door frame. It not only enhances the appearance of our house but seals up the basement / garage area from drafts and heat loss. We are very pleased. Dustin is a great technician and will be our first call for any garage door related issues we have in the future.

Our garage door broke on a Saturday of course. We called our regular garage door service company but no answer. I googled garage door companies in Westerville and precision came up. My garage door opener stopped working on Fri. I googled for someone to repair it and found Precision. Scheduled visit for first thing Monday. Technician called 30 minutes before arriving, as promised, and was here in the time that I selected. I showed him what my garage door opener was doing and he replied, "It's fried." I thought as much. Quoted me a new one, said he could replace it in about an hour which he did. Would use Precision again and would recommend them.
