Tim Tomlinson was the repairman. He was very knowledgeable on how to fix my issues with the keypad, remote and garage door opener. He gave me options to choice from to do the repair. He was on time. Trapped! Yes, trapped is the best word to describe the feeling you have when that spring on your garage door snaps. I had that feeling last Thursday night and though I really didn't need to go anywhere, you think of a half dozen things you would like to go out for, if only you could get out. I had this same problem 5 years ago, so I gave that company a call, actually several calls, but by late morning they hadn't called me back. Not wanting to wait any longer I called Precision Garage Door. Their technician arrived much earlier than expected and got right to work. He had everything necessary to perform the job and quickly had the door fixed and everything cleaned up. The company that originally repaired my door 5 years ago still hasn't called me back.

I had a problem with the myQ app on my phone showing my garage door was off-line. I tried different things like resetting my wi-fi, uninstalling and re-installing the app, to no avail. So I called Precision Door Sales and the tech tried and he ended up telling me that I needed to call tech support because of the Wi-Fi problem. He then stayed around while I talked on the phone to tech support to make sure the problem was resolved, it was. Thanks to both your garage door tech and the tech support on the phone.

I've been a Precision customer for a many years. Only 45 minutes passed from the time I called Precision to schedule a service call until John A. pulled into the driveway. WOW!!! John introduced himself, evaluated the problem and presented several repair options with different price points. We discussed the options. No pressure. Just honest evaluation of the options. I made my decision of the repairs to be performed and John went to work. A few hours later the work was completed. The door worked like new. John was polite, knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to trust Precision for my garage door needs and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The gentleman was at my home no time and got my garage door opening. Replaced the sensor electric eye. After that the garage openers worked and the wall opener worked. I am fully pleased and satisfied with precision and highly recommend them.

All I needed was spring installed. Door its self was already installed. Technician came out said he wasn't familiar with type of spring that I had. (Standard single car garage door purchased from Menards). Quoted me a price of almost 2 thousand dollars (1800) to install a different spring. Didn't do any work, just looked at it and still charged me a 50 service fee!

My old opener wasn’t responding consistently when using my remote or keypad. Chatted online with Precision service tech and was surprised that they were able to dispatch a specialist immediately (and on a Sunday). James arrived, quickly assessed the problem (faulty board in the 25 year-old opener) and upon determining a replacement board was unavailable due to its age, quoted me prices and options on new openers. James had my new opener installed quickly and reviewed the new features with me before he left. I couldn’t be happier with the quick response from Precision and the work performed by James.

I have used them 3 times and everyone from whoever I spoke with on the phone to the technician was so professional and so accommodating. Thomas Timmons was incredible. He called 20 mins. before arriving. He explained everything he was going to do (evaluate, inspect, diagnose and correct the problem). He made recommendations of things that he felt should be addressed in the future but was not pushy in trying to get it done now. He took the time to explain the cost of the equipment needed to replace the sensors. He tested the equipment when he was done and then had me try it myself to make sure it worked to my satisfaction. He made sure we had no other questions or concerns about our garage door. He explained the payment process and offered a receipt and explained that an email receipt would also be sent. I called mid afternoon and by 6 o’clock a technician was here to service our door. Our door was damaged and fixed by another company for the previous owner. Upon inspection, it had several issues as to the reason it was stuck in the up position. The technician was very thorough, professional, and yet personable in handling the issue.
