Well, I confess it was pot luck. At 3:30 AM two violent explosions with brilliant light and a fearsome buzzing sound took place outside my bedroom window in quick succession. On inspetion they had to have been over 100 yards away. I'm no stranger to exploding electric transformers, and these must have been monsters. I'm an 83 year old veteran, and I thought I must have been on a battlefield. In the morning I discovered one of my openers had been fried. After a time I looked on my computer, found you and maybe impulsively decided that everything looked good. The woman who answered the phone was kind, warm, efficient and competent. She clearly liked her work, and I took that as a sign of the kind or company she worked for, so I signed on without any reservation.. Usually for me that's a sign of gullibility, but this time I was right on. Tim, Junior was here in short order and I badly needed him. I liked him right away, he was like a friendly neighbor, explained everything, recognized that my work was of very good quality, and finished the job in an amazingly short time, with an installation silk-smooth, and well explained. I don't ever go on like this, but this whole operation was so clean and competent from beginning to end that I had to write this damned essay to express my appreciation. I have never encountered such admirable performance from a contractor. It cost a guy like me a bunch, but I don't regret a penny of it. Thanks.

I called on Wednesday night to schedule an appointment for an estimate to replace a 27 year old Genie door opener of which I have two. The scheduling was exceptionally pleasant and efficient. Gary came the next day and I asked him to price the bad opener and also price replacing both existing openers. He was extremely cordial and knowledgeable and no pressure on the sale. I went with replacing both. Immediately Gary didn't just put in the openers, he installed them with old school craftsmanship, something hard to find these days. To be honest I am still not very pleased with the price of the spring replacement which almost came close to the total price of the overall door replacement that I made seven years ago, spring inclusive from another company. I will say that the service job performed was outstanding and the technician really did a great job explaining all that needed done. it is nice that the replacement has a seven year parts and labor warranty and was great to have the job completed the very next day after I called in the evening. I just feel the price of one thousand dollars is way too high to pay for a spring replacement and more than likely will shop around for estimates the next time as I have never paid this much in the past before but perhaps the costs have risen this much with all companies. This is my first time using this company.

I was able to set the appointment for same day service which was very convenient. I had been having issues with the garage door opening smoothly for quite some time and two other companies had been unable to resolve the problem. The tech listened to my descriptions before testing the door so he could know better what to watch for as he tested the door (the issue was sporadic but problematic.) He found a few problems pretty fast and was able to make adjustments as well as replace some parts needed. I was very happy he had everything he needed with him; there was no added waiting time for parts. Everything was done in under two hours. Fast and VERY friendly service. The issues seem to be resolved and if for some reason they aren’t I have the added comfort of a warranty. I’m very pleased with Precision Door.????
