I called on Friday October 3. David came out within a couple of hours. Was very nice. He said he had to order parts and would send me a quote. It is now Monday evening October 6 and I have not heard anything from anyone at Precision Doors. David told me they work 6-7 days a week. I need my door fixed . David did get it to where we could manually open and close it. It is a 12 foot shop door.

Pricing seems high but includes a three-year warranty which saves on labor for future needs in that warranty period. The tech was friendly courteous and timely.

The franchising fee isn't worth it. Needed a new opener and parts, basically needed everything replaced except the tracks and the door itself. They got it done good and fast, but the bill for this came in at $4927. The tech they sent was very friendly and excellent to work with, was able to negotiate $750 off with him after the fact, service was fast and great. Not worth the premium plus plus pricing though. I badly wish I would have shopped around. Probably could have got it done for half the price. Included my invoice for reference. Note that installation time is included in the parts quote. Took the tech 5 hours to complete. I think a high end pricing for this job would have been $3500; since it was done fast and good I would have happily paid that and left a 5 star review. Parts online looked to cost about $1500 tops.

The person who installed my garage door was professional and did a good job installing the new opener. The poor rating is due to very poor response from the billing/accounting department. I have tried 3 times (twice via email and once via phone) since the work was done to obtain a receipt for the work done. I paid $929.00 at the time the service. No one is available at this time to speak to me so the dispatcher took a message for someone to call me. I don't have a high confidence level that I will receive a return call. I will not recommend your company in the future.

The man that came out was very professional and very informative as to what the problem was. He installed a new motor and helped to program my old garage door opener as well as gave me the new one. David was an excellent technician. He analyzed the issue quoted a price and fixed the problem (brackets holding motor broke). He installed higher quality angle iron and made entire system more stable. He checked wiring to ensure safe operation.

Dave was very nice, courteous and patient with me. He fixed my problem in a timely manner. Would I call precision again, probably not, because I was shocked by the initial estimate of over $2000.00! I definately should have shopped around! As a retiree on limited income I only needed the springs/cable replaced and told him I had a set amount I can afford. No Senior discount was offered either.

But the pricing of the product by your company is outrageous ! for a motor which sells on line around 150.00 dollars , i was charged and paid 1029.00 dollars. To me this is very unprofessional and not good for the reputation of your company .
