This is the second time we have reached out to Precision to fix our garage door; two different issues. The reason I called them a second time, is because of the fantastic job they did last time. My garage door was making a weird noise when closing. It actually got stuck crooked. I called on a Sunday afternoon, quickly got it scheduled (no weekend rate...thank God). The repair person, James showed up on time. Very friendly, explained the issue and cost BEFORE starting. James had it totally fixed and tested in approx. 20mins. I was extremely pleased with him, his passion and hard work. I will continue to go with Precision for all of my garage door needs.

Dustin was my repair person. He did a thorough review of the door with me and presented all of my options clearly. The work (springs, pad/seal, bushings, and rollers) was completed in about an hour. The door works great now and is much quieter. I was very impressed that Dustin got so much done is such a short time by himself. Dustin was great to work with, very efficient, and left the garage clean. I am very happy with Precision and all the repairs done to my garage door.

We have been using Precision since 2007. We initially purchased a complete overhaul package, which at that time came with a lifetime warranty. You never really know if a company will truly honor such a warranty for a lifetime but Precision amazingly has. We have contacted them a number of times through the years for warranty service and they have always cheerfully come through, the same day, and once even on Christmas Eve. Today was no exception. Our technician Tom, not only fixed the broken spring, but did a complete inspection and found cables that were wearing out and possibly needing replaced in the near future. He replaced them along with the spring, lubricated the door and made sure everything would be running smoothly for the foreseeable future, with only a charge for the service call. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.

The Precision tech arrived within 15 minutes of my call and was incredible! Adam was committed to solving the issue which was complicated by my door not having the correct springs for the size and weight of the door. The added weight was due to extra support struts put on by the company 4 years ago, and it turns out the springs should have been addressed at that time. After trying to get the tension right for a long time, Adam spoke to his boss who said "make it right" and provided a new spring system at no additional cost to me. Not only was Adam committed to fixing my door, but the company stood up and made right on an oversight from four years ago. THAT is incredible customer service!

While my problem with my garage door being jammed was fixed, I feel I got ripped off having been charged $832 for an hour's work. The cost should reflect the difficulty of the problem based on what was done. The cost was based on all that could go wrong before even working on the door. I know there has to be an estimate, but the true cost should be adjusted fairly according to what was needed to be done.

David H did an excellent job, and very quickly too. He even greased my bearings, and the entire opener system at no charge. I received an estimate the night before online and the final price was within that estimate. The estimate perimeters were very broad and they could easily be narrower to reflect what the actual price will be for a broken spring. They quoted $100-$360 and final price was $350 minus a 10% educators discount for the final price of $315. I am a satisfied customer overall.
