We were traveling all day Friday and arrived home around 9pm. I closed the garage door and there was a loud crash as the spring broke. Both of our cars were inside the garage and we were stuck. My husband said call Precision Repair and I did at 925pm. The polite young lady gathered information and offered me an appointment between 8-12 the following morning. Tom called at 0815 to let me know he was on the way. Tom was friendly, organized and informative. He updated our garage door hardware, new springs and garage door opener. We would highly recommend Tom and Precision. We are grateful for making us a priority and getting us to our appointment! Many thanks Tom! You are awesome!

I called late Thursday and was able to book a repair or replace on this Saturday. The repair man walked me thru the problems and we decided to install a new opener. He worked on the door and took less that 4 hours to complete all the work. He explained all the new options and how everything works. He was very polite, nice and detailed in his explanations. In a world where customer service and efficiency is seemingly diluted, Precision Garage Door exceeded my expectations in these realms! I attempted to go through a family friend for my garage door repair, but after not hearing back for a day, I set up time with Precision on Monday 8/12 for Tues 8/31. Tom reached out promptly Tuesday morning with a courtesy call and to provide timeframe expectations. When he arrived, he got right to work with writing up an estimate for me, and then, subsequently, two additional estimates once I added on a secondary service and he noticed it may be advantageous to replace my entire door. Tom was thorough, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. As a single young woman, it's never comfortable having contractors out to your home when you aren't sure of their agendas, i.e. upselling unnecessary components of a job or product, but Tom was thorough in what I needed and why. Once I agreed to have my door replaced, he scheduled me the same day with an installer! The installer, I didn't get his name, was the same caliber of professional. Friendly, helpful, respectful, just really wonderful customer service. He got my door installed, but was unable to install the new motor/opener due to my electrical wiring intact- he thoroughly explained why he was unable to do so, and advised if someone could detach the wiring and cap it off, to give them a call back and they would return to install the motor/opener. He even called the office preemptively to ensure that the price I was quoted was locked in for 90 days. All in all, I am 12/10 pleased with the services rendered by these two gentlemen. The best home repair professionals I have had out to my home in four years (and there's been a lot- unfortunately). Thank you, Precision, for helping me swiftly and effectively when I was in a bind. I will be recommending Precision to friends and family!

The response was quicker than I expected. I was contacted by Derek within a few minutes that he was on the way to help me. He was very professional upon arrival, making sure to follow company policy. He did a very good inspection of the problem explaining to me what he thought would work and got my approval to correct the problem. Although i think the price was a little high, Darek did a very good job on my project. I assured him i would call him the next time i needed a door fix. I was unable to list all the parts used for the repairs purchased.

I chose Precision today because they had installed all new parts in 2021. The technician explained what was needed to fix the problem today and recommended changing other parts that were showing wear! He explained this was not necessary but would be soon, I chose to have it done and am very satisfied! Joe was polite and personable!

Last night, August 8th, I discovered that our garage door springs needed to be adjusted. I didn't want to take the chance that the springs would break or that the extra strain would damage the motor. While trying to decide who to call I remembered your TV ads and gave Precision a call about 5:00 p.m. A service appointment was easily set up and your employee, David Morgan, arrived as promised about 6:30 p.m. David adjusted the spring tension on the door and now the door operates properly. I was pleasantly shocked at how nice and knowledgeable your technician, Patrick Mulligan, was yesterday.. I explained to Patrick that my garage door seemed to be working fine, but I wanted some preventive maintenance done. Patrick explained to me the various levels of maintenance he could service, and the cost of each. Totally my choice! No high pressure! As he finished the job, Patrick explained to me exactly what he had done. Excellent follow-up! As far as your company’s response. I called late in the afternoon this week, Patrick arrived at approx. 8:20 a.m. the next morning, calling me first, that he was on his way. Excellent service! The only suggestions I want to give is that I think you could cut back on your TV ads, and you need more detail on this page concerning the service done. Look at my case. My service was OUTSTANDING! David called me around 11:00 and said he was in my area and if I was free he could come over now instead of 4:00pm. I wasn’t home but told him that was fine I would meet him there. We both arrived at exactly the same time . He was very polite and took the time to explain what was wrong and what I needed to fix my issues. When he was finished he took some extra time to help make sure the opener in my car was working as well as the remotes, keypad, and button by my back door. He also showed me how to change the light bulbs in the motor box. In my opinion his customer service skills are the best I’ve ever seen. I hope I don’t have another issue for quite a while but if I do I will certainly ask that you send him. He also cleaned up and took all the old parts with him. My garage door really is a lot more quiet now. Thanks Mike ODell

Because you are a Genie dealer, I made appointment for a technician to come replace my keypad on August 1. After the keypad was replaced, I was looking for an itemized receipt showing the costs for the keypad and the costs for labor. I received a receipt, only after calling to request one, which showed the cost of the keypad to be $173 and then $20 for “fleet maintenance”. There was no itemization and it really looks like I got gouged for the keypad. When my husband called, Kimberly told him that the company would knock at least $93-$100 off the payment and refund it to our card. That was on August 1. It is now August 6. The money has not yet been refunded - AND - when the keypad was used to leave the house today, it FELL APART IN PIECES!!!! We will be calling later to address that with your company. I am so disappointed with your service and explanation of costs that I wish I could give ZERO STARS!!!!
