I was very pleased with the Genie opener quality and features. The technician was knowledgeable and helpful, and even helped with programming my built-in opener buttons in my vehicles after installation. I must be candid however regarding product cost. This product routinely retails for around $400. Even allowing for estimated cost of installation labor (which was not itemized), the markup was around 300%!

A bracket on my garage door broke t 4:00pm on Friday preventing my door from opening. I called Precision at 4:15pm Friday and they told me they would have someone come over between 6p-10p Friday. The technician arrived at 5:30pm Friday and was finished fixing my door by 6:10pm Friday. He clearly explained the problem and told me how he was going to repair it. I chose Precision because I had used them before and was happy with the service.

Precision Garage Door Service has been our go-to company for any garage door issue we’ve ever had over the past twenty years or so. Most recently, in a three year old house we purchased nine months ago, we called in Precision to evaluate a door that was obviously underpowered and not working well. Precision’s technician, Jonnie Swartz, thoroughly evaluated the situation and plainly explained each of the issues he diagnosed and the corrective measures that could be taken along with the cost of each one. Jonnie was great to deal with and, after our discussion, he efficiently and effectively corrected every problem. We now have a garage door that works like new ! We particularly like Precision’s customer service and attention to detail in scheduling and performing any needed work. The serviceman, Joshua, was very knowledgeable and professional, he clearly explained the issue with the door, and had no problem answering questions concerning the mechanics involved and the pricing. We had Precision Garage Door rebuild our garage door in 2022 and they did a fantastic job including clean up. In 2023 we had an issue with the garage door opener and they were quick to respond and also adjust the springs that assist in lifting the door. March 2nd 2025 one of the springs broke Precision was there within hours and replaced the springs at no cost to us at all standing behind their 5 year parts and labor warranty.

I got totally above and beyond great service from the tech who came to my house. We had settled the bill and he was getting in his truck to leave and looked back at the garage door as it went down and noticed that there was a little bit of different height from one side to the other instead of just driving away he stopped he pulled his tools back out and he corrected this very minor defect. But major to me to show how much this company is dedicated to doing it right the first time

My garage door was making a noise when closing. The service rep, David Morgan diagnosed the problem and made some adjustments, which fixed the issue. I had purchased the garage door late 2023 so technically it was out of warranty. David said it was a minor adjustment and there would be no charge which is almost unheard of these days for a service call. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door and especially want to commend David for his friendly and knowledgeable service.

I called this afternoon to get a price to replace the seal and then to do a tuneup. Their quote was very good compared to other companies I had called. I asked them to schedule an appointment and they actually said they could be there this afternoon in about an hour hour and a half.. Joshua, my technician called about 15 minutes before he got here. He was right on time.. I explained to him what I want done. He finalized the quote for me.. the garage door sounds better after the tuneup. He replaced with very a nice tight seal. Joshua was very nice and polite and I would recommend him in precision for any work.
