I have my garage springs replaced last year without thinking much of it. Although this review is a year too late but i need have one. 2 car garage. I searched online for a general price to replaced the springs in columbus area and it was estimated to be in range of 400 -700. After asking friends that replaced their garages(springs replaced), they paid anywhere between 500 to 700. Precision charged me over $1500 and said this is the lower end of the price. Also, the tech says he will apply a discount. What a discount!!!. I just had my other house's( rental property) spring replaced and paid $441. I got charged 3 times the amount by Precision. Show around ppl. I will eat this one but will never happen again.

Joe McCormish, the opener installer, did a great job. I was given a 4 hour window and he was here 15 minutes after the window started. Joe was friendly, courteous and discussed my options in detail. He installed 2 openers in 2 and a half hours. I was grateful that he was available to do the work today. I would highly recommend Precision to others.

I contacted them because the wall bottom for my garage door wasn’t working. I was surprisingly told that there would be no service charge for them coming to check it out. The technician checked it out and concluded that it might be a bigger, more expensive problem than just the wall switch. I decided to just use my other remote for the time being. And just as promised, no charge for the call. Much appreciated!

The guy who came to fix my garage door was nice and was able to fix it. But did so after trying to up sell me on a bad fix that would’ve cost triple what I ended up paying for a better fix. I would do more research in the future before choosing a company that has such crazy prices. I ended up paying over $500 for 15 minutes of work. Still better than the $1500 quote I was originally given but declined. Pretty shady pricing, seems they charge whatever they think you might be willing to pay.

Dereck arrived on time near the beginning of the window after a call saying he was on the way. His work was well done and he explained each step to me. He installed a new motor and some needed parts. The technician did as I ask to test the system but I did not feel like he did much troubleshooting on his own to fix the problem. He was polite and courteous. I think he wanted to push selling a new garage door opener, no choice of type or brand. He had to replace not only the opener but the rail system also. The remote controls sold separately and door control button inside garage had to be replaced. He did not offer to leave the old system behind in the garage but I did not think to ask him to. I thought the cost was excessive. I would not recommend this company to others.
