I was a loyal customer of another company for years. Less than three months ago they came out and did a full tuneup. Less than three months later my garage door fails. My spring broke which was a brand new spring. I called the other company who no longer offers after hours or weekends. I looked at the number of highly positive reviews and experiences described about precision garage door. I called them on a Saturday morning (of course things like this happen on Saturday mornings) and I was greeted by a very cordial and knowledgeable phone manager who because of the extreme cold said that they may not be able to get to me today but would get to me first thing Sunday morning. Bright and early Patrick was there. He took a good look and gave me a list of what had been wrong with the garage door including parts that could easily have been replaced that were over 40 years old. I had a staggered list of repairs that I could make now or could make overtime and then an estimate for the parts that could be replaced today to make the repair complete. I really appreciated Patrick giving me choices and breaking it down for me and explaining what was needed immediately and separating that from what could be done later. We went ahead and replaced the bearings, the rollers (both were over 40 years old) and replace the spring with double springs. I now have the peace of mind that this door should operate beautifully for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend this company. Patrick was outstanding. The quality of his work was excellent. We went over after he finished and he explained to me what was done and taught me how to maintain the garage door. I will probably have him out once every year or two to just preempt the winter. I would highly recommend this company.

So...woke up this morning after thinking all night about my garage door not functioning. Saw an ad on the morning news. Called and talked to Bianca, got scheduled for the afternoon. Tim Tomlinson called and asked to start early...discussed the opener, had one on the truck. Perfect install, changed out rollers and top brackets. It now operates quietly, opens smoothly as it should. I couldn't be more pleased, and it was all installed within several hours. Joe did an honest and outstanding job for us. Knowledgeable and skilled as well as polite. He assessed the overhead door, which was completely off kilter and missing rollers and partly off the rails. He explained how the malfunction happened and advised he could fix it, now. Assured us that the major parts were still good... door, rails, springs, and tensioners. In short time he had the door working perfectly. Very fair pricing. Excellent customer service. We would recommend him. We have been in our house for 34 years and do have our go-to garage door company. They were closed, on vacation. Found Precision online and we are glad we called them. Excellent work.

The technician was on time, dedicated, and fast! It is winter in Ohio complete with sub-zero temperatures. We recently insulated our 2-car garage door to help ensure the temperature does not fall below freezing (we have an axillary electric heater). We recently added insulation to our garage door (R15). We knew the weight increase of 50-60 libs would affect the operation of the door. Precision being the original installer 4.5 years ago and having used them in the past at other locations we were confident in their ability to run the calculations to establish and replace the original springs with ones that would now be compatible with the added load of adding insulation.
