Spring on the garage door broke at 5 pm on Sunday. We needed service quickly because my wife had knee surgery scheduled on Monday am. Found you on internet called and repairman arrived a little before he was scheduled and had the door operating within an hour. Service was very good, but I was told I could get a receipt by email but none was forwarded. Would be 5 stars, but I emailed a request for the receipt for payment on the next day and now six days later have still not received a receipt for payment. 4 stars.

I had used you before and was very pleased with my 5 STARS service. My service tech was on time, very nice, knew his stuff! He checked out the problem with the garage door and it wasn't as serious as I thought. Door had not been used since 2/9/2015, hadn't driven my car due to surgery. After a few tries it finally went up but would not come back down so I had to close it manually. Tom, I think that's his name had the problem solved in a few minutes. sprayed the hinges and other parts as well as checked out the spring, etc. Door was probably frozen to the ground when I first used it. I'm so glad I called because now it's not noisy going up and down. And if it happens again I'll know what to do. Thank you so much.

I needed my garage door fixed ASAP and I called Precision Door and they immediately came out that same day. The Tech was very professional and courteous and got the job done in a timely manner. The only problem is now I can't lock my garage. I didn't check it before the technician left because I had to go somewhere but when I put my car in the garage and went to lock it, the garage door doesn't come down far enough for me to slide the lock in place. But other than that I would definitely recommend Precision door to anyone!

Beth was very informative, polite and negligible over the phone. She gave me a window for the work of between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. I needed a repair for a spring. The installer did an excellent job of installing the door opener. However, he told me that he would send me a copy of the invoice by email and ten days later I have not received the copy for my files.

I had an emergency on a Saturday. I didn't realize my trunk door was up and I back out of the garage, hitting the garage door, knocking it off the hinges. Your repair person came out the next morning (He would have come out that day if I had wanted him to), and we evaluated that we needed a new door because it was so old. He is now here putting in the new door. The entire process went so quickly and effortlessly- The girl I talked to on the phone was more than helpful and considerate, and the gentleman who is doing the work is very professional and accommodating.. I have ALREADY recommended this company to several people. You were great.

Saturday morning with the garage door unable to open, I called the company that installed my new garage door one and a half years ago. I reached an answering service and was informed that they would charge $200 just for coming out. I then contacted Precision and was able to schedule work the same day without off hour charges. Their tech Gary was a professional. Their availability to serve at the time of need without exorbitant charges is just precious.

We liked knowing who are tech was going to be. Tom was very professional and did a good job. We expected that our new garage door installation would include the weather stripping around the door opening and the security lock on the inside since that had been our previous experience with another company. We were disappointed that that turned out not to be the case. But overall we were very satisfied and would recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

In regards to the weather stripping, it has always been our practice at Precision to sell the piece as a separate item, as not every situation or customer requires new weather stripping. We did install and sell you the weather stripping with a $50 discount. As for the security lock, there was no mention of you requesting this item but we would be happy to provide you with any accessories you may need. Precision installed my garage door opener in 2008. When I returned home from a business trip and the door didn't open, I once again called Precision and a repairman came the same day. He was very professional - explaining the problem and what was needed to fix it. He also explained the costs. The work was completed in a very timely manner. I am very glad that I kept my original receipt and that I once again used Precision.

technician was nice, on time. I have a feeling that I was over-sold on the repair. Did the repair really need to have all that work done? I don't know.
Hello Denise, I am glad that we were able to take care of your issue and repair your garage door. I wanted to take a moment to provide further detail regarding your repair. We always recommend replacing both springs even though only one spring was broken on your garage door. Both springs would be the same age so if one breaks, the other is likely to follow. Also, the new spring can cause tension on the old spring because it has more age and wear, the old spring has to work harder to keep up and can break. Replacing both springs is always the safest option. The 25 point safety inspection indicated that your center and end bearing plates were worn and needed to be replaced.
